There is a new official image of the LEGO The Hobbit Dol Guldur Battle (79014) set from the upcoming 2014 wave. It shows a couple of sections of Dol Guldur as well as all the minifigures included in the set: Azog, Gandalf the Grey, Radagast, 2 Gundabad Orcs, and the Necromancer of Dol Guldur. We’ve just got a report from a reader of some LEGO polybags that are in the Christmas section of Target stores. There are three different polybags that Target is selling as stocking stuffers for the upcoming holiday season: Friends Ice Cream Stand (30106), Seasonal Christmas Train (40034), and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Kraang’s Turtle Target Practice (30270). If you didn’t get a chance to get the TMNT one a few months ago at Toys R Us, you now have a second chance to pick them up.

Yesterday, we reported that the 2014 LEGO Ninjago sets may be hitting shelves a little early at Toys R Us stores. We can now report that all the sets are now listed on Shop@Home with all their official images. All the sets have a release date of December 1st.

During the first couple of episodes of the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes: Maximum Overload series, there were many things that were revealed including what the Guardians of the Galaxy minifigures will look like in the sets will be coming out next summer. In the beginning of the second episode, it showed off what the BigFig Green Goblin could look like in the Rescue of the Spider-Heli (76016). In the third episode, Falcon showed up and he could look like that in the Hulk’s Laboratory (76018). In the fifth episode and in the title sequences, we see Thor wearing his iconic helmet. Let’s hope that this version of Thor will make it into the new set.
Today, the first 5 episodes of the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes: Maximum Overload online series are available to watch. If you watched the first episode “A Faceful of Danger!”, you get a glimpse of a billboard which features the Guardians of the Galaxy. The members featured are Star-Lord, Gamora, Drax the Destroyer, and Rocket Raccoon. If you’ve played the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes video game, you probably got a chance to play as a couple of the characters.
LEGO’s Facebook Page has released a couple of high quality action images of The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug sets. The images feature the Mirkwood Elf Army (79012) as well as the Lake-Town Chase (79013). To see the official images of the sets themselves, head over to one of our previous posts.
