LEGO Star Wars Rancor Pit (75005) Images

BrickieB over on Eurobricks has posted images and has done a short review of the new LEGO Star Wars Rancor Pit (75005) as well as it connected to the Jabba’s Palace (9516) set. Initial first impressions are that the Rancor is very well built. The size of it compared to Jabba seems to be a 1:1 ratio compared to the movie versions of the characters. The top of the pit aligns with the bottom part of the palace. Overall, the Rancor Pit looks pretty good and will be one of the sets that I’ll be picking up in the first wave in 2013.

LEGO Star Wars MTT Polybag (30059) Found At Walmart

BrickPicker member TheOrcKing has reported that the LEGO Star Wars MTT Polybag (30059) has been spotted in Walmart stores in the US. Before, the polybag could only be found in Japan which made the prices for it extremely outrageous. Last week, Brickset also reported that Toys R Us stores in Canada have recently started selling them as well. It looks like LEGO has heard the voices of the MTT Polybag fans and is releasing more of them.

New Items Added To “Retiring Soon” List on LEGO Shop@Home

LEGO has added some new items to the “Retiring Soon” list on Shop@Homeicon. A couple of sets to point out that may sell out faster than others are the Star Wars Imperial Shuttle and the Harry Potter Diagon Alley. Grab them while you can before LEGO stocks are deplenished and prices on the secondary market skyrocket.
