With 20 days left until Christmas, what do you think we’ll be getting in the LEGO Star Wars 2012 Advent Calendar (9509)?

LEGO News, LEGO Reviews, and Discussions
Paweł “Sariel” Kmiec, author of The Unofficial LEGO Technic Builder’s Guide and creator of many amazing models, has created one of the most realistic Christopher Nolan Tumbler I’ve seen and one in which fans would beg to see this on LEGO CUUSOO. This remote-controlled Tumbler has many cool features including full independent front suspension as well as live axle rear suspension. The steering mechanism is as real as it can get. While cornering, pieces of the body unfortunately fall off slowly due to the “powerful propulsion system with a soft suspension” of the Tumbler. A nice little touch is the LED-lighted jet engine that is connected to the drivetrain. It even has two spring cannons that is fired remotely. Overall, this is probably the best Tumbler I’ve seen and could possibly pass off as a model in the Dark Knight Trilogy. Check out more details of it on Sariel’s site.
The LEGO Minecraft (21102) set has been a hot selling item this year for LEGO and has been selling out very quickly but some relief might be coming. An article by Forbes states that in a tweet by Mojang CEO Carl Manneh, more LEGO Minecraft sets will be available in stores before the the holiday season. There’s no word on how many sets will be available for sale though. This is great news for individuals who have been wanting a set but couldn’t get a chance to buy one. Keep checking LEGO Shop@Home as well as Jinx to see when they will have them back in stock.

A couple of days ago, we posted that the LEGO The Hobbit Gandalf at Dol Guldur Polybag (30213) was for sale at Toys R Us stores. I ordered a couple online and picked them in stores today. The polybag contains 31 pieces and retails for $3.99. Toys R Us is giving away a free polybag with any LEGO board game purchase of $25 or more. LEGO Shop@Home is giving away the polybag with the purchase of the LEGO The Hobbit An Unexpected Gathering Board Game (3920)
Hoth Bricks has found that the LEGO Star Wars blog has been teasing the new Yoda Chronicles series that is expected to be released next year. The post from “Yoda” in the blog states that there will be a new story that will air every Saturday. No word yet though on what format the Yoda Chronicles will be on.
LEGO has revealed the front images of the Series 9 Collectible Minifigures on their Facebook page. The minifigure bios are also on their minisite. Whitefang over on Eurobricks has already done an extensive reviews on the Series 9 minifigures. He states that now there might be only two complete sets in an unopened box. Does this mean that some minifigures are more rarer than other? That could happen but that’s the luck of the draw. Which Series 9 minifigure are you looking forward to getting?
Alien Avenger
“Smash, mash, and destroy!”
The Alien Avenger is part of a team of rough, tough space warriors assembled from all across the galaxy. With armor and weapons scavenged from the battlefields of a hundred war-torn worlds, he may lack military discipline, but he makes up for it with brute strength and eagerness to charge into battle no matter the odds.
As one of 5,000 identical siblings, the Alien Avenger is used to not standing out in a crowd. But it doesn’t bother him that some may see him as just another nameless, faceless trooper – give him a planetoid beneath his feet and a disintegrator blaster in his hand, and he’ll take on anything and everything that comes his way!”
