For Christmas, I received the LEGO Star Wars Darth Maul’s Sith Infiltrator (7961) set as a present from my girlfriend. I was excited because I wanted to add the Darth Maul minifig to my collection. This set recreates the scene in Episode I: The Phantom Menace where Darth Maul was sent to capture the Queen and tracks them to Tatooine. There Qui-Gon duels the Sith apprentice before he escapes.
The Sith Infiltrator came out in June 2011 and is the third version of ship with the first two being released in 1999 and 2007. The set contains 479 pieces and retails for $69.99 which rounds out to about $0.15/piece. The pieces are packaged in 4 bags numbered 1-3 and has two instruction booklets.
*Note* I will only be doing a review on this set and not comparing them to the previous versions as I do not own the other ones.
I was looking around the LEGO Shop and found some LEGO Star Wars sets on sale right now. There’s not much but if you’re a Star Wars fan or just adding to your collection, these are pretty good deals.

“These aren’t the droids you’re looking for.” is one of the more rememberable quotes from Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope. In 2010, LEGO released set 8092 – LEGO Star Wars Luke’s Landspeeder. A recreation of the scene when Luke Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi arrive at Mos Eisley and being interrogated by Sandtroopers. This set is an exclusive set to Walmart and LEGO Shop and the box is listed as a “Special Edition.” Retail price on this set is $24.99 which makes it around a decent $0.15/piece.
