LEGO Ideas Double Helix Coaster Achieves 10,000 Supporters

The Double Helix Coaster by Nachapon_L_e_g_o is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The build features a pirate themed roller coaster that uses a gear system using a hand crank or a motor to push the carts.

Two More LEGO Disney Sets Officially Announced

LEGO has officially revealed two more LEGO Disney 100 sets that will be releasing in June. One is the The Enchanted Treehouse (43215) which we’ve already seen already and has 1,016 pieces and retailing for $159.99. The other set is the 100 Years of Disney Animation Icons (43221) which has 1,022 pieces and retails for $59.99.

LEGO has officially announced the new LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog theme that will be releasing in August with four sets. We saw them a short while ago but we now have the official product images of them.

SEGA and LEGO Group Reveal New LEGO® Sonic the HedgehogTM Product Range

LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog Theme Announced – Four Sets in 2023

According to Licensing Biz and Stuff, there will be a new LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog theme with four new sets coming this year. It is a spinoff from the LEGO Ideas Sonic the Hedgehog – Green Hill Zone (21331) from last year but you can’t connect them in a modular way.

Sonic’s Speed Sphere Challenge (76990) – 292 pieces/$34.99

Includes Sonic, a brick-built Moto bug and Sonic’s Flicky friend. There’s also the launcher, an arch, gold rings, a ramp, and a beach chair and DJ mini-builds.


Tails’ Workshop and Tornado Plane (76991) – 376 pieces/$39.99

It features Tails’s red plane along his workshop, a Buzz Bomber, and Clucky. It has minifigures of Sonic and Tails.


Amy’s Animal Rescue Island (76992) – 388 pieces/$49.99

The build has a beach area with hidden spots. It also has minifigures of Amy and Tails along with figures of Picky, Pocky, and Flicky. There’s also a brick-built Crabmeat.


Sonic’s Green Hill Zone Loop Challenge (76994) – 802 pieces/$99.99

This set features a layout with the iconic big loop. It also has Dr. Eggman and the Soneggman. It also has brick-built Badnik Chopper and Newtron. It has Sonic and Amy minifigures along with Flicky, Becky, Pocky, and Pecky.

LEGO Ideas Test Lab Minifigure 45th Anniversary Challenge

The LEGO Ideas Test Lab has launched a new Pick a Brick challenge and if your design is selected, fans will be able to purchase directly through the Pick a Brick hub. This new challenge is to celebrate the 45th anniversary of the LEGO minifigure and the mission is to make a build between 150-200 elements to create a customizable display. It must be big enough to display at least four minifigures and can work with both minifigures and minidolls.

LEGO Ninjago Dragons Rising Full Poster Revealed

Shortly after the last fragment was released, the official poster for LEGO Ninjago Dragons Rising has been revealed. Here we can see some of the ninjas as well as a few new characters as well. What’s more noticeable is that Cole and Zane are missing. I’m not sure if there’s just enough room for the two or LEGO was just trying to show off some new characters. The show will be airing soon with new LEGO sets based on the show coming later on as well.
