The JWST project by tonysmyuncle is the latest one to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. This is the second time the James Webb Space Telescope has hit the goal and it looks to be the same one as before. It has 18 moveable hexagonal segments and a hinged secondary mirror.

The project joins Ancient Roman Temple, This is Fine, Castle Dracula, Pac-Man Moving Display, The Lost City, Japanese Courtyard Garden 坪庭, The Travel Suitcase, Pixar’s Up House With Balloons, BotW Temple of Time, Wright Flyer, and Classic Thunderbirds as the ones to reach the Third 2022 Review Stage.

LEGO Ideas Foosball Table (21337) Teasers

LEGO has released some teasers of what could be for the rumored LEGO Ideas Foosball Table (21337). In a new video, we see football legend Thierry Henry and Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford going head to head. The caption also states that it’ll be released on November 1. LEGO also uses a new hashtag #forthejoyofplay which could be a new campaign. The other video shows a whistle being blown.

The Foosball Table (shown above) was the winner of the LEGO Ideas We Love Sports! building contest from 2021. The official announcement of the set should be coming soon so stay tuned.

LEGO Ideas Tree House (21318) Walmart Sale – October 2022

Walmart currently has the LEGO Ideas Tree House (21318) on sale for 12.5%/30% depending on what original price you’re using. It is listed for $175 which is almost the lowest the set has been discounted to by a margin of $5. As a comparison, Amazon has it on sale for $200. The Tree House has been rumored to be retiring then unretiring for the past year or so by other outlets so we’ll see if it sticks around at the end of the 2022.

Update: Amazon has price matched Walmart at $175.

LEGO Adds Another Promo with The Mighty Bowser (71411) Purchase

It looks like LEGO has thrown in another promotion when you purchase the new The Mighty Bowser (71411). They are now also offering the Yellow Yoshi’s Fruit Tree Expansion Set (30509) polybag as a gift as well. This is on top of the Ray the Castaway (40566) and the Spooky VIP Add On Pack (40513) that you’re already getting. Note that Yoshi’s Fruit Tree was given out back in August and the promo ran until September.

Update: The polybag is actually for all LEGO Super Mario purchases of $40 or more. This is the exact same promo as before.

LEGO Birthday Offers Coming Soon?

It looks like LEGO may be doing birthday offers in the future as they have a survey in the Rewards Center asking for your birth month. When you answer the one question survey, you can earn 5 VIP points. I’m not really sure why LEGO is asking again because they should already have that info since you had to put in your birthday when you signed up as a LEGO VIP member. Anyways, five points is five points and we might see something new when our birthday rolls around.
