At 2021 United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP26), children called for action on climate change. The LEGO Group asks world leaders to consider children’s view on climate change. LEGO has created some Building Instructions for a Better World (031102021) for policy makers to remind leaders to place children at the forefront of discussions. These instructions are what kids think should happen if we are to face climate crisis and create a more sustainable future.

The LEGO Group urges world leaders to take note of children’s views on addressing climate change; provides a voice for 6,000 young people across the globe.

Billund, October 28, 2021: Today, the LEGO Group has launched ten ‘Building Instructions for a Better World‘, informing leaders what young people think should happen if we’re to tackle the climate crisis and create a more sustainable future. Reflecting the accessible style of the building instructions that accompany LEGO products, these ten requests of policy makers were identified through research with children from across the globe, helping to give young people a greater voice in the debate on climate change.

At COP26 (UN Climate Change Conference of the Parties), key sustainability influencers and decision makers will come together in Glasgow to accelerate action towards the goals of the Paris Agreement and the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change. LEGO Seasonal Polar Bear & Gift Pack (40494) Available on LEGO Shop

It looks like the LEGO Seasonal Polar Bear & Gift Pack (40494) is now live on the LEGO Shop. I thought it originally went up on October 1 but I guess it got delayed. LEGO Ideas/Chronicle Books Puzzle Fan Vote Winner Announced

LEGO has announced the winner of the LEGO Ideas/Chronicle Books Puzzle fan vote for the in which the winning design will become an official puzzle that you can purchase in the near future. Not surprisingly, it was the Minifigure Logo by aido_k which had 1,402 votes. LEGO has also released a rendering of what the packaging will look like and it will be called the Minifigure Space Mission. There’s no word yet on what the pricing for the 1,000 piece puzzle will cost at this time but they did say it will be available in May 2022.

LEGO Ninjago Related Panel at Skybound Xpo

LEGO will be announcing what could be a new LEGO Ninjago comic book series at Skybound Xpo on November 29. It doesn’t explicitly say that it’s Ninjago related but there is a panel that includes Tommy Andreasen and Tommy Kalmar who both are part of the series. There was a partnership that was announced for a LEGO comic book back in June. You can RSVP to the event here and the program will begin at 10am PT.

LEGO Harry Potter Hogwarts Icons Collectors’ Edition (76391) Designer Video

Although the set has been out for over a month now, LEGO has just released the designer video for the LEGO Harry Potter Hogwarts Icons Collectors’ Edition (76391). LEGO Design Master Marcos Bessa talks about some of the things that can be built in the set such as Tom Riddle’s diary, Hermione’s potion tray, Harry’s glasses, Ron’s chocolate frog, Hedwig, and the golden snitch. There’s also three golden minifigures of Dumbledore, Professor McGonagall, and Hagrid to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the LEGO Harry Potter theme.

The set is available on the LEGO Shop for $249.99 and there is currently a promotion for the Hogwarts Gryffindor Dorms (40452) when you purchase the set which runs until November 7, while supplies last.

LEGO Creator Coffee Cart (40488) Revealed

If you didn’t see it yet on the November 2021 LEGO Store Calendar, there will be a new promotion coming next month for the LEGO Creator Coffee Cart (40488). The build consists of a coffee cart that has some stickered boards, a small table, bike, and two minifigures. It will be available from November 8-14 with purchases of $65 or more, while supplies last. This will be the only promotion for November until Black Friday VIP Weekend which will be the same week that this promo ends on.
