The latest LEGO newsletter that was sent out today revealed that we will be getting double VIP points on the LEGO Shop next week. For one week (7/12 – 7/18), you will be able to earn double points on everything you purchase including pre-order items. Too bad double points ends right before the LEGO Ideas Seinfeld (21328) releases a few days later.
The Aircraft Engine Workshop by Stephanix is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The minifigure scale build is on a working turbo fan engine in a laboratory setting.
The project now joins Imperial Island Fort, Movie Set, Lifeguard’s Shack, A-Frame Cabin, Spaceballs, The Costume Store, Boston Dynamics Spot 1:4 Scale Motorized Model, Medieval Tavern, Tavern Under the Snow, Women of Computing, Working Mini Golf Course, Brick Walk, Medieval Harbor, Floating Island (Using Tensegrity), and Scooby Doo Mystery Machine as the ones to reach the Second 2021 Review Stage.
If you’re still looking for the LEGO Botanical Collection Bonsai Tree (10281), Amazon currently has it on sale for 20% off. They have it priced at $40 which saves you $10 off the retail price of $49.99. The set is still a pretty popular one even after six months of release and it has finally starting to hit the Amazon discounts again. Thanks to Giovanni for the heads up.
LEGO has revealed images of some new VIP Add On Packs on their building instructions page. There are four packs and they look to be just a slew of accessories for certain themes. It is unsure how or when they will be available but I’m assuming they’ll be in the Rewards Center for a certain amount of VIP points.

Even though we’ve already seen it already, LEGO has officially revealed the LEGO Marvel Infinity Saga Bro Thor’s New Asgard (76200). We now have some additional information about the set. It will be available starting on August 1 for $29.99. The 265 piece set will include minifigures of Bro Thor, Korg, and a buildable Miek. You can actually pre-order this set right now on the LEGO Shop.

The Scooby Doo Mystery Machine by Let Them Fly is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The build is a large scale version of the iconic van with a full interior. It also includes a rotating plinth to showcase the van in various angles. It has 1,969 pieces to match the year Scooby Doo was first seen on screen.
