LEGO VIDIYO Welcome Pack Review

LEGO VIDIYO Welcome Pack

In the middle of February, LEGO offered the LEGO VIDIYO Welcome Pack for those who are subscribed to the newsletter, while supplies lasted. I got mine in a few days ago and everything that was in it included 2 Backstage Pass lanyards, 2 sticker sheet sets, 2 shoelace charm packs, a welcome letter, and free access to the VIP Virtual Pass.

The lanyards features the Party Llama head on the front and a lenticular print of it shaking the maracas. Another lanyard added to my large collection of lanyards.

The sticker sheets feature each of characters from the BeatBox sets along with some larger BeatBits.

The shoelace charms also show a few of the BeatBits. You get two sets of them, one for each shoe.

The access card gives you free access to the Virtual Pass which unlocks the six digital asset packs and one entry to win L.L.A.M.A’s signed roller skates.

The LEGO VIDIYO Welcome Pack is just something fun to get kids into the theme. I’m not sure how many were available but I would think it was a decent amount because they ran out of stock in about 8 hours. People have been getting their orders the past few days and they ship out from Germany. If you didn’t get yours yet, keep an eye out for it.

LEGO Ideas Winnie the Pooh (21326) Temporarily Sold Out

If you hesitated on getting the LEGO Ideas Winnie the Pooh (21326) when it dropped last night, it looks like you’ll have to wait a little longer to get it as it has temporarily sold out on the LEGO Shop. In addition, all of the limited edition prints on the Rewards Center have also sold out as well. I knew the set would be popular but didn’t expect it to sell out in less than 12 hours. The general release is April 1 but I’m not sure if LEGO will have any stock by then. If you have a local LEGO Brand Store, I would suggest checking with them to see if they have any left.

LEGO Star Wars UCS Republic Gunship First Details Revealed

Over a year ago, LEGO announced that the Republic Gunship will become an upcoming LEGO Star Wars UCS set and after that, there have absolutely been no news about until today. There was a roundtable with LEGO Star Wars designers and Fan Media which I couldn’t attend but Brickset has the scoop on what we can expect for it.

The UCS Republic Gunship is designed by Hans Burkhard Schlömer and it will finally be released this year. The cockpit consists of two 10x4x3 cockpit elements “positioned end-to-end.” They speculate the length of the ship will be about 50cm-55cm and it was said that a small coffee table will be needed to display the set. It was also said that Jedi Bob will not be included in the set, bummer.

Hearing what was set about the upcoming LEGO Star Wars UCS Republic Gunship, what do think about it so far?
