The official images of the upcoming LEGO Seasonal Ice Skating Rink (40416) has been uploaded to the LEGO Shop. The set has 304 pieces and it is a gift with purchase set that you can get starting tomorrow. The promo will run until December 24, while supplies last, and you’ll need to spend $150 to get it. What’s neat about it is that it uses a trans-blue splatter piece to simulate the ice that you can spin the minifigure on.
Today is the last day for the LEGO Black Friday/Cyber Monday 2020 promotions on the LEGO Shop and in the VIP Rewards Center. The Charles Dickens Tribute (40410) is still available with purchases of $150 or more and you can get the Holiday Tree polybag in stores with purchases of $40.
As for the Rewards Center, there’s one final chance to enter the Great VIP Million Point Giveaway. Also LEGO is offering the LEGO Art The Beatles (31198) for 12,500 points.
The LEGO Black Friday promotions continue on today on the LEGO VIP Rewards Center with a new set that you can redeem for points. Today’s item is the LEGO City Main Square (60271) which you can redeem for 20,000 points. Don’t forget that you can also enter The Great VIP Million Point Giveaway for a chance to win over $7,000 in VIP cash. LEGO is still offering the Charles Dickens set all weekend on the LEGO Shop.
If you have some extra LEGO VIP points laying around, there’s some new rewards that you can redeem for this weekend only in the LEGO VIP Rewards Center. Every day there’s a new item that you can get and today, you can get the Buildable Mickey Mouse & Minnie Mouse (43179) for a cool 20,000 points. I’m pretty sure that this one won’t sell out as the cost is fairly high. There’s also a LEGO VIP Tote Bag that is still available for 1,600 points. Just a reminder, the Black Friday/Cyber Monday promotion is still going on at the LEGO Shop where you can still get double VIP points all weekend long.
A few days ago, we got a first look at the upcoming 2021 LEGO Star Wars sets and we now have the rest of the lineup including the spring sets. Our friend Just2Good got some of the sets from LEGO and the back of the instructions has listed the other sets that we haven’t seen yet including:

4+ Resistance X-Wing (75297)
Taun Taun & AT-AT Microfighter (75297)
The instructions also show the minifigures that are in each set and the Imperial Shuttle has a Luke Skywalker minifigure with a blue lightsaber which is actually wrong because by this time, he has the green one already. I’m not sure if this is an error and will be fixed later on or not.
What do you guys think of the 2021 LEGO Star Wars sets? So far I’ve seen a mixed reaction for these sets. Some like the smaller sets that are still pretty accurate and a cheaper price point but some don’t like the constant rehashes of previous sets when there’s a slew of other vehicles that could be used.
The Among Us: The Skeld project by MinifigInDisguise is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The build is based on one of the maps in the popular game and is split up into five sections which consist of the playable areas on the map. It also includes six crew members, a ghost, and two pets.
The project now joins the Boeing 737 Passenger Plane, Colosseum (Architecture Style), Gravity Falls: The Mystery Shack, Brick Town Police Station, , Red Dwarf Starbug, Avatar: The Last Airbender – YIP YIP!, Classic Castle, Open MRI, Motorized Lighthouse, Avatar: The Illuminated World of Pandora, Spirited Away, Jumanji of 1995, Auto Union Type C Racecar, Automated Garbage Truck, The Car Wash, and Wallace & Gromit as the ones that have reached the Third 2020 Review Stage.
LEGO has officially announced the next set in the Modular Building line with the Police Station (10278). Releasing on January 1, the set has 2,923 pieces and will retail for $199.99. The set is designed by Chris McVeigh which is the first one he’s done for the line. Check out the details and more images of the set below.
