Last week, we got our first look at the LEGO BrickHeadz Universal Monsters Frankenstein (40422) and we finally have a release date for it. LEGO Shop@Home has put up the product page for it and it shows it will be available next week on September 15. Even though it is a licensed set, the price for it will be the usual $9.99.

LEGO x Levi’s Collection Officially Announced

LEGO has officially announced their partnership with Levi’s for a clothing line collection. This collaboration features a variety of clothing including a jacket, hoodie, sweater, shirt, and jeans. There’s also plenty of accessories to go along with the look including a cap, beanie, bags, and a fanny pack.

Also exclusive to this collection is the first-ever flexible LEGO baseplate in which you can customize to your style. There will also be a 110 piece bag of LEGO DOTS (40438) that has exclusive tiles of the Levi’s logo.

There’s no word on when or where the LEGO x Levi’s clothing line will be available but there is a landing page on LEGO Shop@Home so I assume you’ll be able to get it there as well as at some retailers.

Wearable Art. Celebrating Limitless Imagination.

Who doesn’t love LEGO® bricks? And who doesn’t have a fond LEGO memory from their childhood (or even adulthood)? Whether you build from instructions, or dream up something from your imagination, LEGO building is the ultimate platform for creative experimentation and development.

And of course, no one loves creativity and playfulness — as well as infinite customizability — more than Levi’s®. Which is exactly why the two iconic brands have teamed up for a special Levi’s® and LEGO Group collection.

“This is such a fun collaboration celebrating self-expression, creativity and nostalgia,” says Karyn Hillman, Chief Product Officer for Levi Strauss & Co. “It’s Levi’s® and the LEGO Group coming together to co-create something really special and new, but undeniably

LEGO x Adidas A-ZX First Look

Last week, LEGO did a teaser for their upcoming collaboration with Adidas for the A-ZX series of shoes. HighSnobiety was sent an early pair of the shoes to take a look at and they don’t look that bad.

The packaging comes in LEGO 2×3 brick box but the inner box looks to be a custom box to HighSobiety so you probably won’t get that when you order it. The shoe itself is mostly gray with accents of blue, green, red, and yellow which are LEGO’s basic colors.

There’s no word on a release date but it should be some time later this month at select retailers and at Adidas.com. It was also stated the price point could be between $120-$130 but that was just a guess. Who’s looking forward to picking up a pair?

LEGO Releases Statement on Surge of Projects Achieving 10,000 Supporters on LEGO Ideas

LEGO has given a statement on the recent surge of projects that are hitting 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. Should they change the way LEGO Ideas works whether it being upping the supporter threshold or decrease the timeframe needed to reach 10k?

Since the amount of projects have doubled to tripled the amount we usually get, LEGO has contributed this to the free time people have online due to COVID-19. The trend is still too early too see whether it will continue or not so they will not be making any changes to LEGO Ideas at this time but they are planning changes for the long term. This includes addressing the current trends along with realizing more AFOL project designs while being mindful of what LEGO Ideas is supposed to be.

Over the past six months, we have read a growing number of comments from the fan community related to the significant growth of product ideas reaching 10,000 supporters. A lot of those comments ask the same thing. Is it time for change on LEGO Ideas? Should we increase the supporter threshold, decrease the timeframe or change something else altogether?

The last two review periods have shown an invigorated interest in LEGO Ideas product idea submissions. We’ve gone from averaging about 10-12 product ideas in each review phase to seeing 26 and 35 product ideas, respectively, in the last review phases. A significantly leap.

We want to let you know that we’re aware that this increase is occurring. We’re also aware that this significant increase has
