In addition to the LEGO Spring Lantern Festival (80107) going up on Amazon this morning, they have also added the LEGO Story of Nian (80106) on the site as well. It retails for $79.99 and it will be in stock on February 14. I’m not sure how much stock Amazon has but this set has been temporarily out of stock on the LEGO Shop since its release as well.
The Claus Toys by Bricky_Brick is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The 2,989 piece build is a modular style building that has both Claus’ workshop as well as a storefront for shoppers. The floors and walls are removable for better access to the rooms. It also proposes five minifigures, Claus, Athlete, Claus Assistant, Child, Little Girl, and a Claus robot.
The project now joins The Shire, the Hobbithole of Frodo and Bilbo Baggins, Among Us: The Skeld Detailed Map, The Office, Castle of Lord Afol and the Black Knights, The X-Files: I Want to Believe, The House of Chocolate, The Simpsons – The Krusty Burger, Asterix and Obelix, 4½-Litre 1927-31 Bentley ‘Blower’, Scania Next Generation S730, The Karate Kid “Wax On, Wax Off”, Hyrule Castle (The Legend of Zelda), Metroid: Samus Aran’s Gunship, NASA’s SLS & Artemis, Lego Bookends, and Animal Crossing: New Horizons Paradise as the ones to reach the First 2021 Review Stage.
The Animal Crossing: New Horizons Paradise by TiagoCatarino is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The build is based on the highly popular game on the Nintendo Switch and it includes your starter house and some of the basic amenities. It uses between 1,200-1,500 pieces and is a bit bigger than minifigure scale.

The LEGO Spring Lantern Festival (80107) is now available for purchase over on Amazon. It is at retail price of $119.99 but the downside is that it will ship within 1-2 months. The delivery window is between February 15 and March 7. It has been temporarily sold out on LEGO Shop since its release earlier this month.
Over the past week or so, there have been some new rumors of an upcoming LEGO set based on the Titanic. YouTube channel Brother From Another Brick has received information from Eurobricks user VanIslandLego about a LEGO Titanic set coming later on this year. There’s no other details mentioned but we can expect it during the second half of the year. Keep in mind that VanIslandLego is the same person who first reported on the LEGO Ghostbusters Ecto-1 (10274) and the LEGO Colosseum (10276) before they were released.
The last large scale ship that LEGO has released was the LEGO Creator Maersk Line Triple-E (10241) way back in 2014 but if the Titanic is real, it is sort of macabre due to it having over 1,500 people dying when it sank in 1912.

LEGO has given an update on a couple of new VIP Rewards for February 2021 in the LEGO Rewards Center. We can now confirm that starting on February 1, LEGO will be offering the LEGO Pirates Collectible Coin, while supplies last. There’s no word on the cost but I assume it’ll be 1,150 VIP points which is the same as the Castle one that is still being currently offered. You can see what it looks like in the image above.
There will also be a sweepstakes which will run from January 31 – February 21. There was no mentioning on what the sweepstakes will be for.
We have already seen some of the promotions that will be happening next month on the Store Calendar but there is an additional in-store promotion at select stores from February 1-14. LEGO will be giving away Lunar New Year Red Envelopes with any gift card purchase over $20.
LEGO has officially announced their newest theme that is in partnership with Universal Music Group called LEGO VIDIYO. The sets will help children use their creativity to make and share their own music videos. It uses some printed tiles call BeatBits and they allow kids to use video and music styles to scene effects as well as UMG’s library of music to create their music videos.
