LEGO Marvel Spider-Man Venomosaurus Ambush (76151) Revealed at New York Toy Fair 2020

There are now images of the new LEGO Marvel Spider-Man Venomosaurus Ambush (76151) which was revealed at New York Toy Fair 2020. The embargo for this set was today hence the confidential watermark on the box. The set has 640 pieces but there’s no information on the price or release date. It features minifigures of Spider-Man, Venom, an updated Iron Spider, and a brand new Spider-Ham.

The set itself has a Spider-Buggy for Spider-Man but the main attraction here is the Venomosaurus which is a venomized T-Rex complete with a long red tongue and a black and white color scheme.

LEGO Minifigure Creator Passes Away

In some sad news today coming out of Denmark, the original creator of the LEGO Minifigure, Jens Nygaard Knudsen, passed away a few days ago. Minifigures are some of the most popular items in LEGO sets and they have evolved throughout the 40+ years they have existed. His legacy will live on as LEGO produces many, many more minifigures in the future. Jens was 78.

The Retro Bowling Alley by Astronaut Avila is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The project was created to complement the Downtown Diner (10260) and it features a classic style bowling alley with four lanes and a detailed kitchen.
