Earlier this year, it was announced that the hit TV show LEGO Masters will be coming to the US. UK company Tuesday’s Child will be teaming up with Brad Pitt’s Plan B Entertainment to produce the show and it has been revealed that the show will be airing on Fox. There’s no details on how many episodes will be in the season or when it will premiere.
The first official day of San Diego Comic Con 2019 is now over, at least for me, and LEGO’s minifigure giveaway today was for the LEGO Marvel Advanced Suit Spider-Man from the hit PlayStation 4 game. The way the minifigure was given away was reverted back to before where everyone waited their turn on the iPad to see if they won or not. There are some new changed that have been implemented to the way the giveaway was done. First was the time change to ~9:30am from 12pm from previous years. Also the amount of people who were able to win has been increased dramatically. According to the rules sign that was posted, for every five people that went in, four would win and it showed.
As for the Advanced Suit Spider-Man minifigure, it comes in the same clamshell as before. The front of the card shows the Spider-Man logo from the game as well as the SDCC50 logo at the bottom left. The back of the card shows the Marvel Gamerverse logo and the legal jargon.
The eyes on Spider-Man’s head have some silver metallic around the upper part of it. The rest of the head has some webs on the front as well as on the back. There is a large white spider on both sides of the torso to go along with the classic red and blue color scheme. The legs have some of the red on the side and there’s also some red toe printing.

There a new LEGO City promotion that has started with the Space Satellite (30365) polybag. You can get it for free with purchases of $40 or more at LEGO Stores and on Shop@Home, while supplies last. This is the same polybag that is currently available for purchase over at Target. To double up on this promo, there are also some LEGO City Mars Exploration sets that have Double VIP points with the Lunar Space Station (60227) and the Deep Space Rocket and Launch Control (60228). The Space Satellite polybag promotion ends on July 21.
The new LEGO Creator Harley Davidson Fat Boy (10269) is now available for purchase on LEGO Shop@Home for VIP members. The set contains 1,023 pieces and only retails for $99.99. I have a feeling that this set will be a pretty popular one as it is different from what we’re used to getting for the Creator vehicles. You will be able to earn 650 VIP points with your purchase.
There are more Amazon Prime Day deals to be had before the day is over and there is a Deal of the Day item for the LEGO Star Wars Darth Vader’s Castle (75251). It is priced at $89.99 which is $40 off the regular price and that equates to 31% off.
Today is the last day of Amazon Prime Day and they have a Lightning Deal for the LEGO Ideas Voltron (21311). It is currently on sale for $143.96 which is 20% off the normal price. As of this post, it has been 33% claimed so hurry it if you want to get in on this deal as it ends in about an hour and a half.
Earlier today, LEGO revealed their third and last life-sized model that will be displayed at San Diego Comic Con 2019 with Batman and a 3D mosaic of the Detective Comics #1000 variant comic book cover. Batman stands 6’5″ feet tall and uses 44,051 pieces to create. It took Master Builders 270 hours to design and build. The comic book mosaic uses 96,768 pieces and is over 10 feet tall.
