The LEGO Movie 2 Signed Minifigures Given Out Yesterday at LEGO Brand Stores

Here’s a very interesting promotion item that only a handful of random LEGO Brand Stores were giving out yesterday to promote The LEGO Movie 2. Over on Reddit, there’s an image of a signed Will Arnett LEGO Batman minifigure and according to the thread, nine stores across the nation were giving out signed minifigures for people who made the first The LEGO Movie 2 purchase of the day. This particular one was from the LEGO Store at Paramus, NJ. I’m not sure if the minifigures are all of Will Arnett or a variety of the voice actors but I think this a really cool promotion for the movie since people didn’t know about it and people got it as a surprise that will probably be their highlight of the year. If you got one of these signed minifigs, let us in the comments below.

Update: It looks like the minifigures are from all the voice actors as there is a Tiffany Haddish Queen Watevra Wa’Nabi one from Twitter.

The LEGO Movie 2 Poster Giveaway Winners Announced

The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part

Last month, I ran a giveaway for readers of the site for a chance to win a theater sized poster for The LEGO Movie 2. The contest is now over with 3,050 entries and the winners have been randomly chosen and notified. Since the widget was broken for a few days, I extended it and also chose two additional winners on top of the original five. If you didn’t win, I have another sort of a giveaway coming up soon so stay tuned for that. Congratulations to the winners below.

The LEGO Movie 2 BrickHeadz Building Instructions Available

LEGO BrickHeadz The LEGO Movie 2 Emmet (41634)

There are some new building instructions for The LEGO Movie 2 LEGO BrickHeadz set that have been uploaded to LEGO’s servers. There characters that are included in the sets are Emmet (41634), Wyldstyle (41635), Benny (41636), and Sweet Mayhem. There’s no word on when they will be available on Shop@Home but I believe they will come out in March if they do get released. One of the more cooler parts from these sets is the printed 1×4 brick of the Classic Space logo.

If you remember back of October of last year, I reported that the LEGO BrickHeadz was rumored to be ending. I should clarify that the licensed BrickHeadz would be done however LEGO will still produce the in-house sets like the Seasonal ones and for their own IPs.

March 2019 LEGO Store Calendar

The March 2019 LEGO Store Calendar is available and we can now see some of the promotions and events for the month. The month is somewhat car themed as some of the things going on will revolve around that. The calendars do not show the gift-with-purchase promotions so we’ll have to wait until we get closer to the start of them to see what they are.

March 1-31: Double VIP Points on select sets at vip.lego.com.

March 4-31: Best in Show Building Event. Go to the LEGO Store and build a dream car to display it at the store.

March 5-6: VIP Monthly Mini Model Build is a Viking Ship. As I reported before, this will be the last Monthly Mini Model Build event but there are things in store the the rest of the year. I know some details about it but will wait until next month to talk about it.

March 18: Minifigure Swap Monday

March 21: In-store building event. Registration starts on February 15. I heard it is to build some sort of vehicle.

March 23 & 30: LEGO Life Meeting
