The LEGO Movie 2 Mini Master-Building MetalBeard (30528) Review

The LEGO Movie 2 Mini Master-Building MetalBeard (30528)

As I reported before, one of the new polybags that have showed up at Walmart for The LEGO Movie 2 is the Mini Master-Building MetalBeard (30528). The polybag consists of 42 pieces and retail for $3.97 and it can be found at the LEGO aisle.

The build is basically a smaller version of MetalBeard’s crab mech which the normal version is in the Battle-Ready Batman and MetalBeard (70836) set. In the middle of the mech is MetalBeard’s head with his and, of course, his metal beard piece right below. The back has a crow’s nest that is attached on a ball joint. Unlike the regular set, this one doesn’t have a treasure chest with his internal organs. Although he has some claws for legs, there’s also a single wheel at the bottom to help him move.

This polybag is a 3-in-1 set so it is able to change into a three-wheel vehicle as well as a ship but the instructions for those builds are not available at this time but I’ll do a follow-up when they are. Again, The LEGO Movie 2 Mini Master-Building MetalBeard (30528) can be found at Walmart and if you need help to see if your store potentally has the polybags, head over to Brickseek and enter your zip code to check the inventory near you.

The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part

Warner Bros. is cranking up the promotion for The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part and they have released a new “Space” trailer earlier today. The trailer features more scenes that we haven’t seen before in the previous two.

The LEGO Movie 2 hits theaters in a few months and other fan sites have already started reviewing some of the sets already. I’ll wait until the sets become available on December 26 to take a look at a few of them so keep an eye out for them soon.

The LEGO Movie 2 Emmet’s Piece Offering (30340) Polybag Found at Target

The LEGO Movie 2 Emmet's Piece Offering (30340)

So far, I’ve already on two The LEGO Movie 2 polybags with the Mini Master-Building MetalBeard (30528) and Star-Stuck Emmet (30620) but it looks like there’s another one to look out far. One of our readers on our Facebook Page, Cory, has found Emmet’s Piece Offering (30640) at their local Target store. The polybag consists of 44 pieces and I assume it retails for $3.99 like all other polybags there. It looks to be found near the LEGO section as seen from the background of the image but they could also be put out on the endcaps or at the checkout lanes. Unfortunately, I do not have the DPCI to do a store search but I’ll get you that info when I have it. I’ll head out to my stores tomorrow to see if I can find any of them for a quick review.

Update: The DPCI is 204-00-0522.
