Pre-Register Now for LEGO Tower and Get In-Game Item

A few months ago, LEGO announced a new mobile game that will be coming out this summer called LEGO Tower and you can now pre-register for it at the Google Play Store and on the Apple App Store. If you sign up during this period, you will receive an exclusive piece on launch day which looks to be the pearl-gold eagle helmet from the Series 15 Collectible Minifigures Flying Warrior.

In addition, there are more images of some of the levels you’ll be able to play on as well as some of the LEGO minifigure residents. One downside of the game is that there will be in-game purchases because they have to make money somehow but it should be enjoyable even without buying anything.

The LEGO Star Wars May the 4th promotions are now live on Shop@Home. Technically it’s still a day early but LEGO has started a day earlier this year. The main promotion is the Battle of Hoth – 20th Anniversary Edition (40333) with purchases of $75 or more on Star Wars products, while supplies last. In addition, there’s also a 20th Anniversary Edition art print with $35 or more. If you’re a VIP member, the LEGO Star Wars Tantive IV (75244) is now available for purchase and if you get it, all of the promotions will be in your cart.

LEGO Star Wars Battle of Hoth – 20th Anniversary Edition (40333) Review

Tomorrow marks the beginning of the LEGO Star Wars May the 4th promotions on Shop@Home and the main promotion is the Battle of Hoth – 20th Anniversary Edition (40333). The set has 195 pieces and you can get it for free with purchases of $75 or more in Star Wars products, while supplies last. This piece count is the most for a May the 4th promotional set that LEGO has released ever. LEGO has sent over the set early so we can take a quick look at it.

The first thing I have to mention is the box itself. As a collectible set, you do not have to rip it open as it is the resuable folding style. I do like this style of box for promotions as you can store the set whole if you’re done with it.

The mini scale set features the iconic battle scene from Star Wars: Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back with the AT-AT and two Snowspeeders. On the left side, we have the Echo Base DSS-02 shield generator which is now correct with four generators. It uses some gray discs to represent that.

Going around to the front, we have the exclusive printed 2×4 tile of the 20 Years of LEGO Star Wars logo.

Next to the shield generator, are the two Snowspeeders that sit on a couple of trans-clear 1×1 round bricks. One of the Snowspeeders has the orange color scheme and the other one has the gray one.

LEGO City Mars Exploration Rocket Transport (60229) Official Set Images

Last week, we got our first look at the summer 2019 LEGO City Mars Exploration sets and it looks like there’s now images of the largest set in the wave. Ukrainian retailer Playzone has posted a listing for the Rocket Transport (60229) and it has 1,055 pieces.

LEGO Ideas Machu Picchu Achieves 10,000 Supporters

Machu Picchu by DDBDR is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The model has 511 pieces and it is a microscale version of the historical landmark with a number of architecture features of the building.

Machu Picchu now joins National Museum – Rio de Janeiro, Anatomini, The Office – NBC, The Pirate Bay, Kakapo, SpaceX BFR / Starship & Super Heavy 1:110 Scale, Addams Family Mansion, and 123 Sesame Street as the projects to reach the First 2019 Review Stage.

LEGO DUPLO Summer 2019 Official Set Images

There are now official images of the summer 2019 LEGO DUPLO sets coming out of MisterBricks. Although it doesn’t appeal to everyone, young kids will certainly enjoy these sets as they feature a lot of new animals like the baby whale.

LEGO Disney Collectible Minifigures Series 2 (71024) Now Available

It’s the beginning of the month and usually there’s new products available on LEGO Shop@Home but it’s fairly barren. The only thing that is brand new is the LEGO Disney Series 2 Collectible Minifigures (71024) which are $3.99 per pack. There are 18 characters to collect and there are two complete sets per box of 60 with Huey, Dewey, and Louie being the rarest ones coming in at two per box. I’ve already done a review of the set if you want to check that out.
