A few weeks ago, we got a look at the new LEGO Brand Store (40305) set and at first we thought it was going to be a part of an upcoming promotion but it looks like that won’t be the case. Zusammengebaut has reported that the set is actually being sold by itself at LEGOLAND Billund for 229.95 krones. We also get a look at the set stacked up and it looks like a decent sized set and is actually too big to be a promotional set. Hopefully we’ll get to see this set over here in the states in the next few months and I actually don’t mind it being a regular set.
Last week, LEGO released a teaser for the LEGO BrickHeadz Ghostbusters Peter Venkman & Slimer (41622) but today we now have the official images of the set via Promobricks. The set has 228 pieces and will probably retail for $19.99 like all other BrickHeadz two-packs. Fans have been wondering how Slimer will float like it does in the teaser image and we can confirm that there will be a trans-clear 2×2 brick to help out with the illusion.
Last week, we got our first look at the upcoming LEGO Wizarding World Harry Potter sets but we were missing the box art images. Thanks to Promobricks, we now have the official box art images which actually look very cool. Check them out below.
Late last year, there was a teaser of the LEGO BrickHeadz Star Wars Darth Vader and today there are now official images of the set along with another on. Our friends at Promobricks has found two sets that will be coming out in July. Darth Vader (41619) has 104 pieces and is number 55 in the line.
The other set that was found is the Stormtrooper (41620). It has 124 pieces and it is one from the original trilogy. Both sets will retail for $9.99 each.
The day is finally here as The Toys That Made Us has finally returned on Netflix in which it includes the episode about LEGO. The 44 minute episode talks about the history of LEGO in a different way. It will have some guests in it including Adam Reed Tucker, David Robertson, and fellow San Diegan Bruno Todd just to name a few. I’ll watch it after I get off from work but I’m pretty stoked for this episode as well as the Transformers one.
