LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes App-Controlled Batmobile (76112)

There are now new summer 2018 LEGO products listed on Shop@Home and one of the sets I want to highlight is the LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes App-Controlled Batmobile (76112). We’ve already seen a few images of the set a few weeks ago but we can now see the back of the box which shows how two new Powered Up motors are integrated into the Batmobile along with the Bluetooth hub. The App-Controlled Batmobile (76112) has 321 pieces and retails $99.99 with most of the cost going into the technology used including the app for both Android and iOS.

LEGO Harry Potter Collectible Minifigures (71022) Confirmed

Way back in January, I talked about a possible LEGO Harry Potter Collectible Minifigure series and it looks like it has been confirmed by German toy store JB Spielwaren. It has a product listing for the LEGO Harry Potter Collectible Minifigures (71022) with a release date of September. There is a rumor going around that there will be 22 characters to collect instead of the usual 16-20 we get now with each box having 60 packs. We’ll see how the distribution comes out when reviews of the set are online in a few months.

Update: They have been revealed. Check them out here.

LEGO Wizarding World Harry Potter Sets Confirmed for July Release

LEGO Wizarding World Harry Potter

A few days ago, I noted that the upcoming LEGO Wizarding World Harry Potter sets were reported to be coming in July instead of the original August date. A couple of readers chimed in and said that their LEGO Store employees also said the same thing but we can now confirm that they will indeed come out in July. LEGO Shop@Home has uploaded some of the sets to the site with them stating they are coming soon on July 1. This is some awesome news especially if you’re wanted to get in on the LEGO Beach Tote promotion at the beginning of July.

LEGO Star Wars Solo: A Star Wars Story Imperial AT-Hauler (75219)

Even though I’m a Star Wars fan, admittedly, I have not seen Solo: A Star Wars Story, however, there are new official images of a few more LEGO Star Wars sets for the movie. Again, I don’t have any context for the sets but those who have already watched the movie know what scenes they are portraying.

LEGO Star Wars SDCC 2018 Millennium Falcon Cockpit (75512) Revealed

LEGO has revealed one of the upcoming San Diego Comic Con 2018 exclusive sets with the LEGO Star Wars Solo Millennium Falcon Cockpit (75512). The set has 203 pieces and will retail for $40 at the convention. There’s no word of if it’ll be using the same process as before in the Sails Pavilion or if it’ll use the new lottery system. I’ll be trying to get it once SDCC starts so hopefully luck is on my side. Stay tuned for more LEGO SDCC 2018 reveals in the next few days.

LEGO DC Kingdom Come SDCC 2018 Set by Alex Ross

San Diego Comic Con 2018 is only a few short weeks away and like with previous years, LEGO has a pretty big presence at the event. The thing that fans have been waiting for are the exclusive sets and minifigures that are available at the convention. We’re still a couple of weeks away from those reveals as LEGO likes to keep them close to the chest but it there is something interesting that has popped up online not by LEGO but by another exhibitor.

Alex Ross has posted the above image on Facebook with the caption “New- Kingdom come- LEGO set #sdcc”. If you’re not familiar with Alex Ross, he is the writer and illustrator for the four-issue series Kingdom Come from 1996 and the image is a “set” based on the comic. The image features the iconic cover, in a way, and has custom minifigures of the Alan Scott Green Lantern, The Spectre, Wonder Woman, Superman, Norman McCay, Batman, and the Wallace West Flash.

There’s no confirmation that this is something that will be sold at SDCC by LEGO or by Alex Ross himself. It is curious because he did use the SDCC hashtag in the caption but I’m not sure what this means. It could mean that he may just be displaying it there for show or we’re just be looking too much into it. We’ll definitely know if this is an exclusive in a few weeks when more SDCC exclusives are announced so stay tuned for that. Thanks to everyone who messaged in … Continue
