LEGO Releases Building Instructions for SDCC 2019 Exclusive Sets

The Dark Knight of Gotham City (77903)

I’m not sure if this was a response to us or just pure coincidence but LEGO has released the building instructions for all three San Diego Comic Con 2019 exclusive sets. Usually LEGO doesn’t do this as none from previous years have been released by LEGO themselves but from the fan community. Anyways, you can download them in high quality below.

The Dark Knight of Gotham City (77903)

During San Diego Comic Con 2019, LEGO released the LEGO DC The Dark Knight of Gotham City (77903) for attendees who were able to get in the exclusive lottery. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to win any of the lotteries but luckily for us, my friend Jason was able to get the set and has provided us with the instructions to share with you guys. LEGO usually doesn’t provide the instructions for SDCC exclusives so we have to rely on the community to provide them.

The build consists of 427 pieces and has 74 steps. The build does have one exclusive piece that I know of with the printed tile of the Batman 80 Years logo. You can either use the images below to help with the build or you can download the PDF here.

LEGO Worlds Ending Soon

LEGO Worlds The Showcase Collection Pack 2

There was a lot of news to catch up on since I’ve been gone for the past few days to SDCC. I’ll do a recap of the event shortly but first some news that I missed. TT Games has announced that LEGO Worlds will be coming to an end in the near future but didn’t give a date of when. As a result, they have released their last DLC for free which includes all the showcased models from last year as well as sets, minifigures, and props. It’s sad to see the game go but at least you get to experience everything for free.

The final collection of LEGO Worlds content is finally here for you to download and it’s absolutely FREE! As a thank you to all our Master Builders we’ve amassed a humongous bundle of minifigures, brick builds, props and more for you to craft even more lavish LEGO creations and continue your exciting adventures. The Showcase Collection Pack 2 is available to download right now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch.

Get all the AWESOMELY FREE content we released on the showcase in 2018! Download your favorite characters, builds, props and more from ALL of the amazing sets we released, including original models featuring Pirates, the Wild West, and Ancient Egypt.

LEGO DC SDCC 2019 Zebra Batman Minifigure Review

LEGO DC SDCC 2019 Zebra Batman

Yesterday was the last day for the LEGO minifigure giveaways at San Diego Comic Con 2019 and it was for the LEGO DC Zebra Batman. The card on the front shows the Batman 80th anniversary logo on the top right and the SDCC 50 logo. The back of it has an advertisement for the LEGO DC Super Villains video game.

LEGO DC SDCC 2019 Zebra Batman

As for Zebra Batman himself, both sides of the torso have black stripes all over it. The front has the bat symbol and the belt is printed gold. The front of the legs and feet also have the stripes. This will be a common theme with this minifigure. The head is plain white with black lines to show the detailing for it like with the headband and his face. He does have a double-sided head and they are the usual grumpy and angry expressions. The cowl also has some stripes on the front and sides. Lastly, he has a white cape, also with stripes on the outer side.

Overall, the Zebra Batman is an interesting choice for the 80th anniversary of Batman since there are so many variants LEGO could have picked for this exclusive. Personally, I would have like to seen the Terry McGinnis Batman Beyond or the Kevin Conroy from The Animated Series since they are more well known.

For me this one was my least favorite out of this year’s SDCC selection and if I wasn’t able to get it, I wasn’t too worried about it. Since the line for the giveaway was … Continue

LEGO Stranger Things SDCC 2019 Barb Minifigure Review

LEGO Stranger Things SDCC 2019 Barb

Today is the second day of San Diego Comic Con 2019 and LEGO’s minifigure giveaway is for the LEGO Stranger Things Barb. The way the giveaway was done was the same as yesterday for the Advanced Suit Spider-Man except for a couple of things. First is that the time changed from 9:30am start time to 8:30am so I’m going to assume it’ll be like that tomorrow as well for the Zebra Batman. Also they added another iPad to make the line go a lot faster and I was out of the line by 9:00.

As for the packaging, it’s the same clamshell style as before. The card features the LEGO Stranger Things logo along with the SDCC 50 years on the bottom left. The back side has an advertisement for The Upside Down (75810).

LEGO Stranger Things SDCC 2019 Barb

As you can see above, my card has scribbles all over it. That is because the LEGO designer of The Upside Down, Justin Ramsden, was in town and he had a signing event at the LEGO booth so I headed there to get my signed along with many other fans. My inscription shows, “To The Brick Fan”, along with a speech bubble that says “Help”. All of it including the signature is written upside down.

As for the Barb minifigure itself, she is wearing the pink plaid ruffle shirt that is knotted on the top. The legs are just her blue jeans with some printing of the button and pockets. She has a double-sided head showing her with glasses and having … Continue

LEGO Marvel SDCC 2019 Advanced Suit Spider-Man Minifigure Review

LEGO Marvel SDCC 2019 Advanced Suit Spider-Man

The first official day of San Diego Comic Con 2019 is now over, at least for me, and LEGO’s minifigure giveaway today was for the LEGO Marvel Advanced Suit Spider-Man from the hit PlayStation 4 game. The way the minifigure was given away was reverted back to before where everyone waited their turn on the iPad to see if they won or not. There are some new changed that have been implemented to the way the giveaway was done. First was the time change to ~9:30am from 12pm from previous years. Also the amount of people who were able to win has been increased dramatically. According to the rules sign that was posted, for every five people that went in, four would win and it showed.

LEGO Marvel SDCC 2019 Advanced Suit Spider-Man

As for the Advanced Suit Spider-Man minifigure, it comes in the same clamshell as before. The front of the card shows the Spider-Man logo from the game as well as the SDCC50 logo at the bottom left. The back of the card shows the Marvel Gamerverse logo and the legal jargon.

The eyes on Spider-Man’s head have some silver metallic around the upper part of it. The rest of the head has some webs on the front as well as on the back. There is a large white spider on both sides of the torso to go along with the classic red and blue color scheme. The legs have some of the red on the side and there’s also some red toe printing.
