LEGO(R) SANTIAGO BERNABÉU – PRODUCT PRESS RELEASE

GO REAL MADRID AND THE LEGO GROUP!

The spectacular home of Real Madrid Club de Fútbol can now be built in LEGO® brick form as the ultimate display piece for fans

17th February 2022: Today the LEGO Group reveals a stunning homage to one of the most beloved football teams in the world — the Santiago Bernabéu stadium, a faithful replica of the home of Real Madrid.

The LEGO® Real Madrid – Santiago Bernabéu Stadium set coincides with the club’s 120th anniversary and the 75th anniversary of the iconic grounds. The impressive set features over 5,800 pieces and has been designed to be the ultimate display piece for Real Madrid C.F. and LEGO fans — and to symbolise the spectacular pride felt by fans watching a match take place at the Santiago Bernabéu stadium.

This interactive and immersive set features many specialised details which make it an accurate replica of the stadium from both up-close and afar. A lift-off roof and the ability to open up the model by “splitting” it in half, encourages users to engage with the many details of the set — from the pitch with the famous grass pattern, the venue’s iconic four towers, the goals, tunnel, dugout, scoreboard, banners, stickers, stairwells, iconic Real Madrid C.F. branding, and

LEGO Transformers Optimus Prime (10302) Rumored for Summer 2022?

There’s a new rumor coming out of left field of a possible LEGO Transformers Optimus Prime set coming this summer. Promobricks is reporting that the set will have set number 10302 and will have 1,508 pieces. It is also presumed that Optimus Prime could be based on the upcoming Transformers: Rise of the Beasts movie that is also coming out this year and it will have him with a jetpack and his rifle blaster along with an information plaque.

This is interesting news because Hasbro/KRE-O had the license for Transformers building sets for a long time. If it did expire and LEGO has acquired the license, it’ll be the first time that there will be LEGO Transformers sets. This piece of news is so random that I have a hard time believing it but LEGO has been making surprising moves this year so it’s not totally out of the realm of possibility. I wouldn’t hold my breath and get your hopes up on this rumor until there’s some concrete information.

Jurassic World Dominion Official Trailer

Earlier today, the official trailer for Jurassic World Dominion dropped and we finally get to see what the movie is about. The movie takes place four years after the events of Fallen Kingdom where dinosaurs are now living side by side with humans. Making their return to the Jurassic Park franchise are Ellie Sattler and Alan Grant who will be working alongside Owen and Claire in the Jurassic World trilogy finale.

It has been confirmed that there will be some LEGO sets based on scenes from the movie. It was stated in catalogs that they will be available starting in April so we’ll most likely see the sets some time next month.

Also a new office building will become an “Innovation Center” which will be used for product innovation and product technology development. Construction will begin in 2023 and will be completed in 2025. The expansion will take sustainability into consideration as the Kornmarken Campus will use low carbon steel and concrete while the office spaces will use timber.
