LEGO Star Wars UCS Slave I in 2014?

Rumors have starting swirling about a new LEGO Star Wars UCS set that may be coming out in 2014. Over on Eurobricks, members mentioned that the newest Ultimate Collector’s Series set could be the Slave I. If Slave I was to come out in 2014, my guess is that it could be during LEGO’s “May the 4th Be With You” promotions since the company has released various UCS sets around that time including the R2-D2 (10225) in 2012 and the Red Five X-wing Starfighter (10240) from this year.

LEGO has released quite a few versions of the Slave I including some oddball sets such as the MINI version during Star Wars Celebration VI. There have been many memorable Star Wars vehicles that have become UCS sets but one of the most iconic ships hasn’t been featured yet. Maybe 2014 will be the time for the Slave I to make it’s mark as an Ultimate Collector’s Series set.

LEGO Architecture Marina Bay Sands (21021) Revealed

The next set in the LEGO Architecture series has been revealed on their online survey site, the Marina Bay Sands (21021). Back in August, we reported that the resort in Singapore won the annual LEGO “Vote & Inspire Us” poll and would be the next Architecture set that will be released. The world’s most expensive standalone casino property also features a hotel, a shopping mall, a museum, two theaters, an ice skating rink, and seven celebrity chef restaurants. The Marina Bay Sands will probably be available late this year or early next year.

LEGO Ninjago 2014 Official Partial Set Images

LEGO Ninjago Kai Fighter (70721)

LEGO Ninjago is officially back! In our third straight day of reporting Ninjago 2014 news, The Brick News has posted a couple of the official images of some of the sets which came from K-Mart of all sites. There are also descriptions which lists the minifigures including General Cryptor that we first reported a couple of days ago. What’s interesting to notice here too is that that the Kai, Lloyd, and Jay all have hair pieces instead of their hooded masks although if you look closely, the hoods still cover up half their faces. Also, you can see on the top right corner of the boxes of what Zane looks like. On the back of the OverBorg Attack box, you can get a clearer picture of him in his half Nindroid form. Now we just have to wait a little longer for the rest of the sets to show up.

Kai Fighter (70721) – $19.99

Put the heat on General Cryptor and grab the Techno-Blade with Kai Fighter with 2 flick missiles, jet engines and speed mode wings.

Kai has taken over a civilian vehicle and used his Techno-Blade to turn it into an awesome red and gold Ninja Fighter! Take off and weave between the skyscrapers of New Ninjago City with Kai in the cockpit. Shoot the gold-tipped flick missiles into the path of the evil General Cryptor and evade blasts from his ground-to-air laser rocket launcher. Defeat General Cryptor then flip the wings back to engage speed mode and zoom away. Includes 2 minifigures

LEGO Ninjago 2014 – Rebooted

LEGO Ninjago 2014

The Official LEGO Ninjago Facebook Page has posted the above image of a new LEGO Ninjago poster with the words “REBOOTED” on top and an image of a cyborg ninja minifigure which we think is General Cryptor from yesterday’s post. On the bottom of the poster are the numbers “01001110 01001001 01001110 01000100 01010010 01001111 01001001 01000100”. For all of you who do not speak binary, the letters spell out “Nindroid”.

It looks like that LEGO is beginning to ramp up their promotion for the 2014 LEGO Ninjago sets. The word “rebooted” may also be a play on words because it looks like LEGO is deciding to go in a different direction than what we’ve seen before with Ninjago with the Nindroids. Below is a list of what we believe to be the list of sets for next year’s release:

70720 – Air Breaks (Hover Hunter)
70721 – Kai fighter (Fighter Kai)
70722 – OverBorg attack (OverBorg Attack)
70723 – Thunder offensive (Thunder Raider)
70724 – NinjaCopter (NinjaCopter)
70725 – Nindroid mechanical dragon (Nindroid MechDragon)
70726 – Destroyers (Destructoid)

Update: We now have some images from a few of the sets. Check them out here.
