LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Winter Soldier Polybag

For those in Europe who are pre-ordering the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes UCS The SHIELD Helicarrier (76042) on Shop@Homeicon, you may be find a little surprise in your shopping cart. If you check closely, you may notice that you will also be getting the Winter Soldier Minifigure Polybag (5002953) a little early. For us in the States, the minifigure will be available as a June 2015 promo according to our promo list, which hasn’t been wrong so far. If you can’t wait for the minifigure, we’ll still be getting it but only a few months later the the folks across the pond. Thanks to Joseph for emailing this in.

The new LEGO Marvel Super Heroes UCS The SHIELD Helicarrier (76042) is now available to order on LEGO Shop@Homeicon for LEGO VIP members. The set will also be available at LEGO Stores when they open tomorrow morning. It retails for $349.99 and contains a whopping 2,996 pieces. If you’re not a LEGO VIP member, The SHIELD Helicarrier will be available for the general public on March 1st. Since there might be some technical difficulties with Shop@Home, it may take 24 hours for your order to process and it was stated that it will ship by March 1st.

A few hours ago, we revealed some images of the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes UCS S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier (76042) and now LEGO has officially announced the set. We now get to see the whole set in its glory. The Helicarrier consists of 2,996 pieces and will retail for $349.99. It will include 5 minifigures: Nick Fury, Black Widow, Captain America, Hawkeye, and Maria Hill, as well as 12 microfigures. As we mentioned before, it’ll be available for early access for LEGO VIP members from February 17-28 and to the general public on March 1. LEGO Marvel Super Heroes UCS Avengers Helicarrier (76042)

After very much anticipation and tons of comments and emails from everyone, we finally have an image of the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes UCS Avengers Helicarrier (76042) that we can show off. The image of the Helicarrier is shown on the March 2015 LEGO Store Calendar. The Ultimate Collectors Series set will be available to the public on March 1st but it be available for early access to LEGO VIP members from February 17-28 with a retail price of $349.99. We’ll have a clearer image of it once LEGO officially reveals it in a few hours with the designer video which was teased back in November. Although it doesn’t show, the set will come with 5 minifigures and 12 microfigures. You can see one of the microfigures with Iron Man flying next to the ship. Thanks to everyone who emailed in.

Update: The Wall Street Journal has given some details of the set. There are 2,996 pieces and includes Nick Fury, Black Widow, Captain America, Hawkeye, and Maria Hill. Alas, still no Agent Coulson. More clearer images will be available later.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes UCS Avengers Helicarrier (76042) To Be Revealed at BrickFair Alabama 2015?

BrickFair Alabama 2015 will be happening in just a few days and if you haven’t there been, it’s a place where you can check out some cool LEGO MOCs that are displayed by numerous builders. There are also plenty of vendors where you can buy stuff as well. The LEGO Group will most likely be there as well (or at least a representative) and there’s a very slight chance that there could be a set reveal there this weekend.

My reasoning is that according to our list of upcoming 2015 exclusive sets, the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes UCS Avengers Helicarrier (76042) is slated to be released for VIP members next month and BrickFair Alabama is the perfect time to reveal the set for fans. LEGO did something similar at the same event two years ago when they revealed the LEGO Creator Palace Cinema (10232) so putting two and two together, it could happen. So stay tuned this weekend as we could finally see images of the highly anticipated UCS Avengers Helicarrier. Fingers crossed!

BrickFair Alabama 2015 will be held at the Birmingham Convention Center (East Hall) from January 17-18 and tickets can be purchased at the door.

More 2014 LEGO Set Images Revealed

LEGO Disney Princess Merida’s Highland Games (41051)

In a day already full of 2014 LEGO set image reveals, there are also a few more that have been revealed on Brickset by Legoguy. First is the new LEGO Disney Princess Merida’s Highland Games (41051). The small castle is tan and purple. Merida is in her dark blue dress shooting an arrow at a target. There is also a cookie catapult and Merida’s three younger triplet brothers Harris, Hubert, and Hamish who have been turned into little bears. The set will retail for $19.99

LEGO Star Wars Droid Gunship (76042)

The other set that was revealed by Legoguy is the LEGO Star Wars Droid Gunship (76042). Minifigures included in the set are a new Chewbacca, a 41st Elite Corps Trooper, a Battle Droid, and a Sniper Battle Droid. From early reports, the set will retail for $49.99.

LEGO City Auto Transporter (60060)

The final set that was revealed so far today is the LEGO City Auto Transporter (60060). The set includes a yellow transporter with a blue and a black car and has the ability to fit up to four cars. The set has two minifigures, a driver and a customer dressed in a business suit. The set will go for $29.99.
