LEGO Ideas Jurassic Park Visitor Center Achieves 10,000 Supporters

The Jurassic Park Visitor Center by LDiEgo is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. Here we have another fairly large scale build that is based on the popular movie. The Visitor Center is able to open up to reveal several recognizable rooms in the building like the control room, genetics lab, and the kitchen.

The project now joins the Fossil Museum, the Gingerbread House, the Modular Train Station, the Old Fishing Store, the Jedi High Council, and the Particle Accelerator as the ones that qualify for the First 2016 Review Stage.

LEGO Ideas Indominus Rex Achieves 10,000 Supporters

The Indominus Rex project by senteosan is the latest project to get 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The project features the antagonist in the new Jurassic World movie as a fairly large display piece which contains around 700 bricks.

Although the dinosaur is a great model and a set I would like to have, I have some reservations of this project becoming an official set because of the LEGO Jurassic World license. If it was a generic dinosaur, it might have had a better chance to pass but since the description describes it as the one from the movie, I doubt that it will make it through but we’ll see in a few months.

The Indominus Rex now joins Brick-Built Adventure Time Figures, Caterham Super Seven, the Modular Library, Lothlorien, LEGO Physics, Ghostbusters: Stay Puft Marshmallow Man, and Hobbit-Rivendell as the the projects that are eligible to be reviewed for a chance to be an official LEGO set.

LEGO Jurassic World Video Game – Jurassic Park Playthrough

The LEGO Jurassic World video game is now available on all major systems and I had some time to play the original Jurassic Park movie part of the game in full. If you follow my social media networks, I did announce that I would be streaming the game so if you came by, thanks for watching. If you haven’t seen it, I also created a playlist of the playthrough for the first movie which you can watch below. Forgive me for the sidebar on the video. This was my first time streaming directly from the PS4 so I wasn’t familiar with the layout.

I’m currently now playing the second movie part of the game, The Lost World: Jurassic Park and should be finishing up most likely tomorrow so stay tuned for that.

New LEGO Jurassic World Gameplay Footage

LEGO Jurassic World Video Game

If you haven’t seen actual gameplay for LEGO Jurassic Worldicon, PCGames.de has some new gameplay footage that you can watch. Unfortunately for the non-German speakers, the whole commentary is spoken in their native language so it’s kind of hard to tell what they’re talking about. At least you you can watch some new footage of the game which is scheduled to come out in June.

As we slowly get closer to the release of the LEGO Jurassic World video game, we’ve been teased with various clips and images of the upcoming game. If you didn’t hear from last week, various retailers will have different exclusives with Gamestop having the Gallimimus Trap (30320) polybag while Target has the Dr. Wu minifigure polybag. I have a feeling other retailers like Walmart, Best Buy, and Amazon will have pre-order bonuses as well. The release date is tentatively scheduled for June 12.
