We finally have official images of the summer 2018 wave of LEGO Architecture sets thanks to Zusammengebaut who found the images from German retailer Alternate. There are two sets in the wave, the Great Wall of China and Statue of Liberty but minus Las Vegas which got delayed.

LEGO Architecture Las Vegas (21038) to be Redesigned

LEGO Architecture Las Vegas (21038)

Last week, we got the official box art image of the LEGO Architecture Las Vegas (21038) set which was delayed in its release. That box art will no longer be used and there’s some new information from Promobricks at the 2018 Nuremberg Toy Fair that the set has now been pushed back to a fall release. This is because the set will be redesigned to remove the Mandalay Bay Hotel and replace it with another building due to the events that happened at the hotel last year.

What building would you like to see replace the Mandalay Bay Hotel in the LEGO Architecture Las Vegas (21308) set?

LEGO Architecture 2018 Set News from Nuremberg Toy Fair

There is some new information about some upcoming summer 2018 LEGO Architecture sets that have come out of the Nuremberg Toy Fair. Zusammengebaut is reporting on some hand written notes that there are two sets coming this summer, the Great Wall of China (21041) which will have 551 pieces and cost 49.99 Euros and the Statue of Liberty (21042) will have 1,685 pieces and cost 99.99 Euros.

The reason of the notes and not images of the set is because LEGO has been showing off limited sets and has restricted photography but nobody said note taking was not allowed. As for the sets themselves, I’m very curious to see how LEGO will recreate these two iconic structures.

LEGO Architecture Las Vegas (21038) Official Image

LEGO Architecture Las Vegas (21038)

Last night, I reported on some of the details for the LEGO Architecture Las Vegas (21038) skyline set and now we have the official image of the set courtesy of Promobricks. As I mentioned before, the set will consist of the Welcome to Las Vegas sign, the Mandalay Bay Hotel, the Luxor Hotel, the Encore Hotel, the Stratosphere Tower, and the Fremont Street Experience. As far as the building choices are concerned, I feel there are much more iconic buildings that LEGO could have used and there are too many to list off.

The set will have 487 pieces and retail for €39.99 and it also includes a printed 1×2 tile of the Welcome to the Fabulous Las Vegas Nevada sign as well as the 1×8 tile of the set. The release date is still up in the air due to the events at the Mandalay Bay last year causing it to be delayed. I’ll let you know when it becomes available.
