The LEGO Ninjago Movie Lloyd (30609) Polybag Now Available at Target

The LEGO Ninjago Movie Lloyd (30609)

If you weren’t able to pick up The LEGO Ninjago Movie Lloyd (30609) minifigure polybag bag back in September, it seems that Target is now carrying them in stores as well as online. They are going only $2.99 each or you can get for free with a $29.99 Ninjago purchase or more.

It seems that LEGO is doing more and more of this lately where they are either selling a previous promotional item themselves or having it being sold at another retailer like Target or Toys R Us. This isn’t a bad thing, unless you’re a reseller, because it allows fans to get it again if they for whatever reason missed out on it or didn’t want to make a purchase at the time when the promo was running.

The LEGO Ninjago Movie Lloyd (30609) Polybag Review

The LEGO Ninjago Movie Lloyd (30609)

Today is the premiere of The LEGO Ninjago Movie in theaters and LEGO has started a new promotion in stores and on [email protected] for the Lloyd (30609) minifigure polybag. This version of Lloyd is exclusive to this polybag and is seen partly in the movie and is a little bit different from the Lloyd you get in The LEGO Ninjago Movie Collectible Minifigures.

The LEGO Ninjago Movie Lloyd (30609)

The torso has printing of his green hoodie slightly zipped up over his ninja suit. This is a little different than the CMF one where he has a white shirt underneath instead. The legs are the same ones as in the CMF where he has on black pants with a brown belt and some printing of the bottom part of the hoodie. He has a single sided head with an angry expression. The hoodie/hair mold is also the same one as before but his hair is now light gray. I also want to note that the hair has some black misprinting on it. I’m not sure if this is a widespread issue or not. His accessory is his sword with a pearl-gold tassel. He does not come with the black stand as I use it for all my minifigure reviews.

The LEGO Ninjago Movie Lloyd (30609)

The LEGO Ninjago Movie Lloyd (30609) polybag is now free with purchases of $50 more at LEGO Stores and on [email protected]. It’s a neat little exclusive but the gray hair seems a little off and makes Lloyd look older than he should. Other than that, it’s another exclusive to get for The … Continue

The LEGO Ninjago Movie Lloyd (30609) Promotion Now Live

The LEGO Ninjago Movie Lloyd (30609)

The promotion for The LEGO Ninjago Movie Lloyd (30609) minifigure polybag is now live on [email protected]. You can get the polybag for free with a purchase of $50 or more, while supplies last. This hooded version of Lloyd is slightly different from the one you get in The LEGO Ninjago Movie Collectible Minifigures line. For the next three hours as of this post, you can also get the Mini Green Ninja Mech Dragon (30428) as well. I’ve tested it on [email protected] and both polybags are in the cart.

The LEGO Ninjago Movie Lloyd (30609) Polybag Found

The LEGO Ninjago Movie Lloyd (30609)

Our German friends over at PromoBricks has found yet another The LEGO Ninjago Movie polybag to go with the film on eBay. Again, the polybag will feature Lloyd (30609) but this time it has him in his ninja outfit but with a hoodie. He also has his sword with a tassel on the end.

There’s no information at this time on how to get this particular polybag. This Lloyd is different from the 30608 polybag which will be included with The LEGO Ninjago Movie Video Game.

The LEGO Ninjago Movie Video Game Lloyd (30608) GameStop Pre-Order Bonus

The LEGO Ninjago Movie Video Game Lloyd (30608) Polybag

Back in June, I talked about the Lloyd (30608) minifigure polybag that will come with The LEGO Ninjago Movie Video Game. Currently, I’m not sure if it will be a store exclusive or not but it looks like GameStop listed has it as a pre-order bonus. I’ll let you guys know if Lloyd will be available at other retailers.

The LEGO Ninjago Movie Lloyd (30608) Polybag Leaflet Details

The LEGO Ninjago Movie Lloyd (30608)

The leaflet for The LEGO Ninjago Movie Lloyd (30608) polybag is now available on LEGO’s building instructions page. There’s nothing much to see here but there are some new artwork to look at for the movie especially on the back page where it shows more of Ninjago City.

It is unknown of what the polybag goes with but it is suspected that it could be in a standalone video game for The LEGO Ninjago Movie because there is a code on the corner of the polybag to unlock a character that is similar to previous LEGO video games like LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham, LEGO Marvel Avengers, and LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

The LEGO Ninjago Movie Lloyd (30608) Polybag Hints at New Video Game Coming

The LEGO Ninjago Movie Lloyd (30608)

It looks like there’s a new The LEGO Ninjago Movie polybag that has surfaced on eBay in Germany featuring Lloyd (30608). The polybag features the Green Ninja in a kendo outfit sort of paying homage to the kendo outfits back in 2012.

If you look closely at the bottom left corner, there’s a code H7HGT3 which may suggest that this Lloyd (30608) will be a promotional polybag for The LEGO Ninjago Movie game. Although nothing has confirmed at this time of a game, Arthur Parsons over on Twitter may or may not have been dropping subtle hints about a new game coming soon. E3 is just over a month away and he has stated that he will be there at the convention so I’m assuming there will be an announcement during that time.

The little code on the corner is a trend that has been going on with standalone LEGO video games including the Plastic Man (5004081) from LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham, Silver Centurion (5002946) from LEGO Marvel Avengers, and Finn (30605) from LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
