More Details of Upcoming LEGO Star Wars Sith Infiltrator (75096)

There some new information regarding the rumored upcoming LEGO Star Wars Sith Infiltrator (75096) set. Sir von Lego on Eurobricks has given a release date of the set to be in August with 660 pieces, and is priced at 99.99 Euros. The set doesn’t seem to be a rumor anymore as Brickset has also uploaded the set to their database as well.

This new 76096 Sith Infiltrator will be the sixth official iteration of Darth Maul’s vehicle which was first seen in Episode I: The Phantom Menace. The previous version was a mini set from San Diego Comic 2012 and the last widely released set was in 2011 with the 7961 set which was one of my very first reviews on The Brick Fan. That set was only 479 pieces and retailed for $69.99 so this latest one will be slightly larger. Minifigures that are rumored to be in the set are Darth Maul, Watto, Anakin Skywalker, Qui-Gon Jinn, and R2-D2.

Ooh. Wonder if Qui-Gon will be new or just a re-release. One of my favorite Star Wars characters !

I think it’s because he’s part of the whole Tatooine scene.

Very true. Obi-Wan or Padme would make a lot more sense !

Watto definitely seems an odd inclusion. I wonder if it will be a third version of him.
