LEGO Creator Summer 2015 Official Box Art Images

Moving along with the official summer 2015 box art images from Portuguese online retailer BrincaLandia, we now have the ones from the LEGO Creator line. There aren’t much in this wave but there are currently three sets that we can show off. One of the more popular sets that I’ve seen is Changing Seasons (31038) because you can build three different seasons. The above set is Adventure Vehicles (31037).

Adventure Vehicles (31037)

Enjoy adventures on land, in the air, and on the water with the 3-in-1 LEGO Creator Adventure Vehicles set. The tough offroader features a working winch and hook mechanism, opening doors, chunky deep-tread tires, and orange warning beacons. When you’re done off-roading, rebuild it into a hovercraft or a high-speed helicopter for more fun adventures.

Changing Seasons (31038)

Enjoy the delights of summer, autumn, or winter with the 3-in-1 LEGO Creator Changing Seasons set. The summer cottage features a barbecue with a LEGO light brick and swimming pool. When you feel like a change of season, rebuild it to create an autumn cottage with a Halloween theme or a winter cottage with a Christmas theme.

Blue Power Jet (31039)

Thunder over land and sea with the 3-in-1 LEGO Creator Blue Power Jet set. This power jet model features movable wings, ailerons and flaps, folding undercarriage, and an accessible engine compartment. Plus, you can rebuild it into a high-tech helicopter or an aerodynamic hovercraft with twin cockpits.

LEGO Creator Ferris Wheel (10247) To Be Revealed Soon

Every month this year, there has been a reveal of a LEGO Direct-to-Consumer set, usually around the middle of the month except for The Shield Helicarrier (76042) which was at the end of January. I expect LEGO to do the same in April with their reveal of the rumored Ferris Wheel (10247). One of my reasonings is that according to the May 2015 LEGO Store Calendar from May 13-31, VIP members will be getting early access to a new exclusive set. This date range also corresponds to the date that was provided from the fairly famous list of 2015 set releases and promotions.

For those who haven’t heard about the set, the Ferris Wheel (10247) is rumored to be a companion set to the LEGO Creator Fairground Mixer (10244) which was revealed around the same time last year. I know a lot of people really dig the Mixer with all the play features that are included and I’m sure the Ferris Wheel won’t disappoint either. Now we just play the waiting game until the set is officially revealed which could be any time between now and the end of the month.

Do you guys have the Fairground Mixer and will you be getting the Ferris Wheel to go along with it to expand your amusement park?

LEGO Creator Modular Pet Shop (10218) Retiring Soon

Word has it that the LEGO Creator Modular Pet Shop (10218) is about to be retired. LEGO Brand Stores are mostly out of them or have very limited quantites available. Although it says out of stock on Shop@Home, you can still order it online or by over by phone but it will ship in 30 days. If you don’t have this set, now is the perfect time to get it since the Double VIP Points event has just started. Thanks to Anthony for the heads up.

LEGO Maersk Line Triple-E (10241) Retiring Soon

Everything usually comes to an end and that is what’s happening with the LEGO Creator Maersk Line Triple-E (10241). The set has been available since January 2014 but now has been placed in the “Retiring Soon” section on Shop@Home. This usually means LEGO has probably stopped producing the set and is just selling off the rest of their inventory online and in stores to make room for upcoming releases. There’s no exact timetable on when the Maersk Line Triple-E will be fully retired but there’s still some time to pick it up as of this writing. Thanks to Michael for the heads up.

The 2015 London Toy Fair has kicked off and the folks over at Brick Fanatics has given the rundown of the Summer 2015 LEGO sets of various themes. Instead of doing separate posts, we’re going to condense everything here with details that were given and update as more details come in.

LEGO January 2015 Promotional Polybags Sold Out (Almost)

It hasn’t been a week yet into 2015 but there’s already bad news. Remember all those promos that LEGO was having with the LEGO Creator Flower Cart (40140), LEGO Star Wars AT-DP (30274), and the LEGO Friends Mini Golf Set (30203)? I’m sad to say that the first two has pretty much been completely sold out. You heard that right. In fact from what I heard, the AT-DP was sold out probably on the second or third day, even at my local LEGO Store. Below is what a rep from LEGO emailed to one of our readers:

I’m so sorry the LEGO® 30274 Star Wars AT-DP is in fact sold out completely. We received such a high amount of orders we quickly sold out of it.

There is a way you might still be able to get the promotional set though! I see based on your address you do have a local LEGO® Brand Retail store close by. I will provide the address and phone number to you so you might be able to give them a call and see if they have one in stock.

So that brings us to the question of did LEGO underestimate the amount of orders they are going to get? To take it a step further, was it a mistake of making the AT-DP available free for any LEGO Star Wars purchase? More LEGO Summer 2015 Set Rumors (Creator, Elves, Friends, DUPLO)

Just2Good has more information about some of the Summer 2015 sets from various themes. The details were provided by Eurobricks member demitri. The LEGO Elves theme is back with a second wave of sets. LEGO Friends will be introducing a new sub-theme called “Friends Pop Star.” DUPLO will be introducing the popular Disney Junior show Doc McStuffins to their lineup. Keep in mind that this is not the full list of sets and there will probably be more sets included in the summer wave, especially with Creator.
