LEGO City & Creator 2014 Sets Now Available at Toys R Us

If you’ve been waiting to buy the 2014 LEGO sets, your wait may be over. The new 2014 LEGO City and LEGO Creator sets are now starting to show up at Toys R Us store shelves. If you’re lucky to find them in stock, you might even get a deal on it since Toys R Us is still having the “Buy 1 Get 1 50% Off” promotion. LEGO Creator 2014 Sets Revealed

Walmart.ca yet again has revealed some LEGO 2014 sets and this time, they are the Creator sets. I really dig the Forest Animals (31019) set because monkeys are one of my favorite animals so I’ll definitely be picking that set up.

Power Digger (31014)

LEGO Creator Expert Parisian Restaurant (10243) Officially Announced

Way back in July, we did a post revealing that there will be a new LEGO modular set coming in the near future. Today at Brickcon 2013 in Seattle, WA, Kevin Hinkle revealed the newest set to the very popular theme, the Parisian Restaurant (10243). It’s very busy in the Parisian Restaurant. As a scooter zips by, inside the waiter rushes between the tables as the nervous young man gets ready to propose with the ring! LEGO Maersk Line Triple E (10241) Officially Announced

Today at LEGO Fan Weekend in Skærbæk, Denmark, LEGO announced it’s latest exclusive set in the Maersk line of products, the Triple E (10241). It replaces previous Maersk ships including the Maersk Sealand Container Ship (10152) and the Maersk Line Container Ship (10155). Below are the details of the Triple E as well as official images and video by LEGO Designer Jamie Berard.

Presenting the largest ship in the world – the record-breaking Maersk ‘Triple-E.’ Built from over 1,500 bricks, the model recreates the real vessel in amazing detail. There are rotating gold-colored screw blades leading to the brick-built twin propeller engines, which you can view through the window built into the port side of the ship. LEGO Maersk Triple E (10241) Announced at LEGO Fan Weekend 2013

Back in July, we posted that there will be a new LEGO Maersk Ship (10241) that will be released in the near future. There was speculation on what kind of ship it will be. I predicted it would probably be the new Triple E cargo vessel and today at LEGO Fan Weekend 2013 in Skærbæk, Denmark, it was announced that the new Maersk ship will indeed be the Triple E. Initial details are there will be 1,518 pieces and will cost $149.99/€129.99. It’ll be available January 1, 2014 at LEGO brand stores and on Shop@Home. ~~We’ll do another post when the official details are available.~~
