LEGO Dimensions Winter 2016 Wave Expansion Packs Now Available for Pre-Order

The Winter 2016 wave of LEGO Dimensions expansion packs are now available for pre-order on Amazon. These sets were first revealed along with a new trailer featuring Christopher Lloyd reprising his role as Doc Brown. He also has a minifigure coming out with the Back to the Future Doc Brown Fun Pack. This wave of LEGO Dimensions expansion packs will be available beginning on January 19, 2016 and will run through May 2016 for some. Below are the rest of the wave.

LEGO Marvel’s Avengers Video Game Exclusive Minifigure Image Revealed

Strangely on Eurobricks has revealed the exclusive minifigure that will be included with the LEGO Marvel’s Avengers video game, possibly from GameStop and it is Iron Man MK 33, the Silver Centurion suit from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. As you can see above, Iron Man will now wear an armor piece over his regular suit which is now mostly red and silver hence the suit name. In Iron Man 3, this suit was seen at the end of the movie during the House Party Protocol and was briefly worn by Tony Stark. The minifigure makes good use of the Legends of Chima armor piece and notice there’s also side printing on the arms and legs on the minifigure and if you look real closely, the arms are double printed.

There hasn’t been much information about LEGO Marvel’s Avengers video game besides the annonuncement of it back in January but it is scheduled to be released sometime in the fall. The LEGO Silver Centurion minifigure isn’t list on GameStop’s listings yet but it should be up a few weeks before the game is released.

New LEGO Jurassic World Video Game Trailer – Welcome to Jurassic World

Warner Bros. has released a new trailer for LEGO Jurassic World which features a look at the new park facilities from the new movie. While listening to John Williams’ famous Jurassic Park score, the trailer shows some of the real trailer for the movie in LEGO form. WB has also officially confirmed details of the DLC pre-order bonues for specific systems which I talked about late last night. Both of the DLCs will be able for purchase as a standalone for $0.99.

LEGO Jurassic World Xbox Live & PlayStation Store Pre-Order Bonuses

There are now some bonuses when you pre-order the LEGO Jurassic World video game directly for certain systems using their store apps. For PlayStation 3 or the PS4, you can get some characters including Eric and Paul Kirby from Jurassic Park III as well as a vehicle with the Animal Control Vehicle.

For Xbox 360 and Xbox One, there’s a Jurassic Park Trilogy Pack #2 which includes characters like Lex and Tim Murphy and the cruise ship from The Lost World. It’s interesting since there hasn’t been any word on Trilogy Pack #1 yet.

The LEGO Jurassic World video game will be available for all major gaming systems on June 12 which is the same date that the movie will be released in theaters.

LEGO Jurassic World Video Game Achievements Revealed

As we slowly get closer to the release of the LEGO Jurassic World video game, there are more details coming out for it. Xbox Achievements has posted the list of achievements that you will be able to get in the game. The PlayStation version of the game will also have these achievements but in the form of trophies broken by rarity.

If you’re a Jurassic Park fan, you might notice some of the names of the achievements which are short quotes from each of the movies. You can pretty much see which achievements go with each movie in the game as all four movies are included in the overall game. I plan on doing a review of the game as well as a guide on how to get all the items in the game as I’ve had pretty good responses on the previous LEGO games. I might also be streaming LEGO Jurassic World from my PS4 on Twitch if I get my setup completed.

LEGO Worlds Video Game Advertisement Revealed

Over on Eurobricks, a user has found an advertisement for a new video game by TT Games called LEGO Worlds on the back of the instructions of the LEGO City Square (60097) set. There isn’t much to go on from the image but from what I can infer from it is that LEGO Worlds will be some sort of open world sandbox game in which the player can “explore, discover, and create.”

The image also gives a link to LEGO World’s minipage but it doesn’t work yet since the sets aren’t officially released let. I assume we’ll have more details about the game around the beginning of June.

LEGO Jurassic World Video Game DLC Revealed

It’s not a surprise that DLCs are synonymous with video games these days and there’s already one announced for the LEGO Jurassic World video game. In this one, there are six characters that you can unlock: Scott Mitchell, Karen Mitchell, Tourist Sam, Tourist Emma, Hotdog Vendor, and an alternate costume for Owen Grady. There are also two vehicles included in the DLC, Jurassic World Shuttle and Jurassic Response Unit.

Unfortuantely, it appears that this LEGO Jurassic World DLC Pack is for the European release of the game. There hasn’t been anything announced for the US version of the game but I totally expect some DLCs or even a Season Pass for it when the game is released on June 12.
