Back in November of last year during Black Friday, LEGO was giving away a free exclusive Holiday Christmas Set (3300014) with every $99 purchase. I recently received this set from Richard at Brick Fanatics and am excited to get this set reviewed. The Holiday Set contains 109 pieces an did retail for $14.99 for a short time during after Black Friday. The box contains one instruction booklet, two un-numbered bags, the horse, and a white 4×12 plate.
There are four minifigures in the set: the sleigh driver, a woman, a young boy, and a young girl.
The sleigh driver wears a very nice looking black suit and a top hat. The head is the same one as Santa’s from the 2011 Holiday Set (3300002).
The woman minifigure wears a white blouse that doesn’t look thick enough for the cold weather as well as brown belt printing on the torso. She has dark blue pants. She also has long black hair.
The young boy wears a heavy green jacket with grey gloves. He also has short black legs. On his face, he has freckles on both sides of the cheeks. He has short brown hair.
The young girl wears blue sweater with a lavender colored scarf. He has short purple legs. Her face is the same as the young boy’s. She has long black hair.
The first part of the build is the winter sleigh. The sleigh is a simple build that connects to the horse using the harness piece. The majority of the color is red with green wreaths on the side. The length of the sleigh allows for the driver and two passengers.
The other part of the build is the winter park scene. This too is pretty simple to build with the 4×12 plate being the main part and pieces are added on to create a snow scene in the park. There is a bench and a streetlight with some decorations. On the opposite side are a couple of trees.
Overall, this free exclusive Holiday Set looks pretty good but if you have some of the winter sets, it’ll definitely complement them nicely. If you’ve managed to pick one of these sets up, you’ll be glad you did because it does enhance your winter collection.
