LEGO Ideas First 2016 Review Stage Results Coming at End of September

The Second 2016 Review Stage deadline has now passed and there are a whopping twelve projects that qualified to be reviewed by the LEGO Jury. This also means that the Third 2016 Review Stage is underway and will go all the way until January 9, 2017.

While all of that is happening, LEGO is finishing up another review and has announced that the results for the First 2016 Review Stage will be revealed at the end of September. In that Review Stage, there are nine amazing projects that qualified including Fossil Museum, Gingerbread House, Modular Train Station, Old Fishing Store, Jedi High Council, Particle Accelerator, Jurassic Park Visitor Center, Rolling BB-8, and Johnny Five. Let us know in the comments which one(s) from that list are you hoping will become an official LEGO Ideas set in the near future?

I got both Short Circuit movies in a double feature dvd pack, and I really like them, so I’d like to have a Johnny 5 set. The others, if created, would probably be too big for my wallet to handle.

I’d go for the train station or the fishing store or both!

The particle accelerator is accurate but over all dull as a model so it would not sell very well. The Star Wars and jurassic park ones are based on existing licences so there chances are slim. The train station is to big. The fishing store looks like it has to many pieces. The gingerbread house appeal would be limited to a certain time of year. So out of the bunch Johnny 5 and the fossil museum are the most likely (more so the fossil museum as it would be easier for LEGO to make as they wouldn’t have to get any licences).

IMO the fossil museum is way too dull for LEGO to consider. Pretty sure they took it off their list right away >_> I’d much rather see the JP Visitor Center happen.

Oh I agree (although having more lego Dino skeletons would be neat) but based on LEGO’s past idea set choices it has the highest chance of being chosen. I would much prefer the jurassic park and or Johnny 5 sets myself.

Think only the BB-8 has a chance. They just had a GB house last year. Who has the license for Johnny 5? Everything else is too small of market or too big for Ideas.

I still want the Visitor’s Center and the Landspeeder.

To win the next two review phases I mean. Sheesh I hate not being able to edit comments!

Do we know the specific day and or time of the announcement? My teammate and I are hoping to be together when they announce the fate of our project.
