LEGO Announces the Return of Harry Potter

LEGO Harry Potter Hogwarts Great Hall (75954)

Just a short time ago, LEGO announced the return of the LEGO Harry Potter theme with the Hogwarts Great Hall (75954). At the same time at the 2018 New York Toy Fair, the LEGO Wizarding World theme was also announced. This theme will encompass both the original Harry Potter universe as well as Fantastic Beasts. In addition to the system sets, there will also be some LEGO BrickHeadz as well. The sets should start hitting shelves in August and we hope to see more at the Toy Faur this weekend. LEGO Harry Potter Hogwarts Great Hall (75954) Officially Announced

The rumors were indeed true true! LEGO has just announced that the LEGO Harry Potter theme is coming back this August and they have revealed the first set with the Hogwarts Great Hall (75954). The set contains 878 pieces and retails for $99.99. Check out the full press release below.

LEGO The Powerpuff Girls Full Minifigure Lineup Revealed

A few days ago, LEGO announced that we will be getting some LEGO The Powerpuff Girls sets this August. In the reveal, they showed off the minifigures of Buttercup, Bubbles, and Blossom which are the same as the ones in the last wave of LEGO Dimensions.

Now as we lead up to the 2018 New York Toy Fair, The Geekiary has revealed some more minifigures for the LEGO The Powerpuff Girls including Princess Morbucks and Mojo Jojo along with some builds of Octi and Donny the Unicorn. I’m not that familiar with the characters but I do know Mojo Jojo and I needs to get my hands on that minifigure. The two sets that these minifigures will appear in include:

Mojo Jojo Strikes (41288) – Buttercup, Blossom, Mojo Jojo, Donny the Unicorn

LEGO Seasonal Year of the Dog (40235) Promotion Live on Shop@Home

The new LEGO Seasonal Year of the Dog (40235) promotional set is now live on Shop@Home. To celebrate Chinese/Lunar New Year, LEGO has released this cute little set that was previously only available in Asian countries and in the UK for a short time. To get the Year of the Dog set, it is free with purchases of $88 or more. The promotion runs from now until February 28, while supplies last. If you see the slider on Shop@Home, the $50 minimum purchase is incorrect as you have to have at least $88 in your cart. I’ve already done an early review of the set if you want to check that out.

LEGO Ideas Stitch Achieves 10,000 Supporters

Stitch by Tyler Clites, aka Legohaulic, is the latest project to hit 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. Tyler is one of the most creative and prolific builders in the LEGO community and his project is of the fan favorite genetic experiment from Disney’s Lilo and Stitch. It is a large scale model of the character and includes 13 points of articulation while standing at 7 inches tall.

The project now joins the Embraer A-29 Super Tucano, SR-71A The Final Flight, and Treehouse as the projects to qualify for the First 2018 Review Stage.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Avengers: Infinity War Sets Found at Target

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Avengers: Infinity War Sanctum Sanctorum Showdown (76108)

A few days ago, the official images of the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Avengers: Infinity War sets came out and I was told that you can probably find them early at Target. I now have the DPCI and UPC numbers if you want to look them up on BrickSeek and see if they’re in your area. The official release date of the sets is March 3. Thanks to Jtp01234 for the heads up.

LEGO Ideas Women of NASA (21312) Amazon Sale

Amazon is having a sale on the LEGO Ideas Women of NASA (21312) set for $20.44. It is currently 18% off the retail price of $24.99. This is a pretty decent deal and is better than the sale from last time which makes it the lowest it’s ever been on Amazon.

The set itself has three vignette builds and four minifigures featuring some important women of NASA including Nancy Grace Roman, Margaret Hamilton, Sally Ride, and Mae Jemison. I’ve already done a review of the set if you want to check it out.
