The LEGO Ninjago Movie Voice Actors Officially Announced

LEGO has officially announced some of the voice actors that will be in next year’s The LEGO Ninjago Movie. The list is pretty much the same as the one that came out a few months ago which was revealed from a Warner Bros. catalog. The only difference is the new actors that have been added including Justin Theroux and Olivia Munn as Lloyd’s parents. Check out the press release below.

BURBANK, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–The main cast has been put together for “The LEGO® Ninjago Movie,” a new animated adventure in Warner Bros. Pictures’ LEGO franchise. The film will star Dave Franco, Justin Theroux, Fred Armisen, Abbi Jacobson, Olivia Munn, Kumail Nanjiani, Michael Peña, Zach Woods, and the legendary Jackie Chan. “The LEGO Ninjago Movie” is slated to open nationwide on September 22, 2017.

LEGO Creator Winter Holiday Train (10254)

LEGO has officially announced the next direct-to-consumer set with the LEGO Creator Winter Holiday Train (10254). The newest Winter Village themed set for 2016 contains 734 pieces and retails for $99.99. If you’re a VIP member, you can pick up the exclusive Winter Holiday Train starting on September 15 as stated on the September 2016 Store Calendar.

This year marks nine years since the last Holiday Train (10173) and the new one is not a re-release of the previous set unlike what happened with last year’s Winter Toy Shop (10249). One feature that the train has is the Power Functions (not included) which allows you to control it remotely which is a feature that many people wanted. In addition, you also get 16 curved train pieces to create a complete circle.

Again the LEGO Creator Winter Holiday Train (10254) will be available starting on September 15 for VIPs and to the general public on October 1. Check out the press release and more images below.

The next movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe will be Doctor Strange coming this November but LEGO has already released a set based on the movie with the Marvel Super Heroes Doctor Strange’s Sanctum Sanctorum (76060)icon. The set has 358 pieces and retails for $29.99 which is not a bad price for a licensed set like this. The contents of the box include three numbered bags, two instruction booklets, a sticker sheet, and a loose 8×16 tan baseplate.

Here’s what LEGO Ninjago and Nexo Knights fans have been waiting for since San Diego Comic Con 2016. The two panels from the last day of SDCC are now available to watch over on LEGO’s YouTube Channel.

For Ninjago, the videos do not show the screen or the sneak peak of the first episode of the next season of called the Day of the Departed which airs October 29. You can check out shots of the screen over on my recap post.

The same thing goes for the Nexo Knight panel but again you can check out my recap post for shots of the screen.

It looks like Amazon Italy has posted the official images of the upcoming LEGO Star Wars: Rogue One sets for both the regular system sets as well as the Buildable Figures. Since Amazon is a verifiable source as stated from LEGO, we can now post the images, unless we get asked to take it down.

As far as I know, the LEGO Star Wars: Rogue One sets will be available starting in September.

LEGO Ideas 10K Club Interviews

LEGO Ideas is doing something new for members who have managed to gather 10,000 supporters for their projects and have reached the Review Stages. They are running interviews with the project creators of the First 2016 Review Stage and there you’ll have a chance to learn more about them personally and their project as well as tips on how to achieve the end goal of 10,000 supporters. From the wording of the post, after all the interviews have been done, the LEGO Ideas team will will reveal the results of which project(s) will become official LEGO Ideas sets.

Today, LEGO has posted the first interview with whatpumpkin who created the Fossil Museum. There are nine project creators to feature since there are nine projects that hit 10,000 supporters for the First 2016 Review Stage including Fossil Museum, the Gingerbread House, the Modular Train Station, the Old Fishing Store, the Jedi High Council, the Particle Accelerator, the Jurassic Park Visitor Center, Rolling BB-8, and Johnny Five.

There’s no word on how often these interviews will be ran but follow the LEGO Ideas Blog or the Facebook Page to get updates on when the interviews are posted.
