The LEGO Movie: Everything is Awesome Edition Target Black Friday Doorbuster Deal

There’s about two week until Black Friday shopping weekend here in the US and various retailers are stating to release their ads for the event. Target will be having a very nice doorbuster deal for The LEGO Movie: Everything is Awesome Edition. This version of the movie includes a ton of bonus features as well as the exclusive younger Vitruvius minifigure. Target will be selling The LEGO Movie for only $9 which normally retails for about $35 on Amazon. This is a very nice price for the movie if you haven’t picked it up yet.

Keep in mind that stuff sells out pretty fast during Black Friday so get there early if you’re trying to get yourself a copy. The doors will actually open at 6pm on Thanksgiving Thursday, November 27.

LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes: Justice League vs Bizarro League Trailer

LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes Justice League vs Bizzaro League Blu-Ray

IGN has posted the trailer for the new LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes: Justice League vs Bizarro League original movie which we revealed yesterday which also includes the exclusive Batzarro minifigure with the Blu-Ray/DVD/Digital HD combo pack.

The trailer features a number of characters from the Justice League including Batman, Superman, Cyborg, Wonder Woman, Green Arrow, Plastic Man, Hawkman, and the Guy Gardner Green Lantern. It also shows the Bizarro League members such as Bizarro, Batzarro, Greenzarro, Cyzarro, and Bizarra. From what I can infer from the trailer, the two teams go up against each other in the beginning but team up to fight against Darkseid later in the movie.

LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes Justice League vs Bizzaro League will be released on February 10, 2015. There’s no pricing on the movie at this time. Check out the cool trailer below.

Target Limited Edition LEGO Storage Brick & T-Shirt Combo Pack Review

As we mentioned in a previous post a couple of weeks ago, there is a new LEGO Retro Storage Brick that is available at Target. This new exclusive item will only be in stores and online for limited time. We’ve received a review copy of the LEGO Storage Brick and T-Shirt and here are my thoughts on it.

The Storage Brick itself is in the shape of a round 1×1 brick in transparent orange. The packaging states the brick is 12.5 cm x 18 cm. which makes it a little bigger than the small Pick-A-Brick cup and a little smaller than the large Pick-A-Brick cup. A note of advice if you’re planning on using it for storing small elements like studs and such. Don’t. The reason is because they will get stuck in the groove below and you’ll have to find something to pry them out. Other than that, the Storage Brick is just a glorified Pick-A-Brick cup.

The other item that’s in the Retro Stroage Brick combo pack is the t-shirt that is included. It’s a bright yellow shirt that features the various logos in LEGO’s history like the one that is prominent across the chest which is from 1953. It also has a tattered look to give it a retro feel. The back of the shirt features the current logo. The only downside of the t-shirt is that it is only in kids medium which makes a majority of us AFOLs sad that we aren’t able to wear it.

That’s not all that LEGOLAND California has in store for next year. They have also announced there will be a brand new area in the park based on the LEGO Friends theme, Heartlake City. From what is stated, this new section will take over an area that had been underused which has water features. Children can explore Heartlake City on Andrea’s tour bus which also has a sing along. There will be building activities and a horseback ride on a carousel.
