The LEGO Movie Summer Camp Minisite

If you’re waiting for The LEGO Movie to come out on Blu-Ray/DVD in two weeks, there is a new subsection of The LEGO Movie’s website called Summer Camp. Here kids can visit various worlds of the movie including Bricksburg, The Old West, Pirate’s Cove, Octan Tower, and Cloud Cuckoo Land and within each location, there are short clips featuring that place. Also, there are a number of various activity sheets that you can download and print for kids to work on. If you visit all the worlds, you can get a special certificate (below) that you can download.

Another thing you are able to do during summer camp is that you can create a postcard that you can download and print as well. Choose your favorite world out of the previous locations, then choose which The LEOG Movie character (Emmet, Wyldstyle, Unikitty, MetalBeard, and Batman) you would like to have. Finally, choose from five different messages to put on the postcard.

The LEGO Movie Summer Camp has some fun stuff for kids to do in their spare time and they can be proud of themselves when they earn that special certificate after they finish everything.

LEGO Star Wars MTT (75058) Official Images

Hungarian LEGO retailer Kocka.hu has posted the official images (plus their watermark) of the new LEGO Star Wars MTT (75058) on their products page. As mentioned before, the minifigures included are Obi-Wan Kenobi, QUi-Gon Jinn, Naboo Security Guard, Battle Droid Pilot, 7 Battle Droids, and a PK-4 Droid. All the minifigures are a new variant and the set will most likely be a store exclusive. Now if we can get the parts count and price on it, we’ll be golden.

LEGO Ninjago: Nindroids Video Game Trailer

Back in March, we reported that LEGO Ninjago: Nindroids will be available for Playstation Vita and Nintendo 3DS. Today, WB Games has released a new trailer for the video game. LEGO Ninjago: Nindroids is the sequel to LEGO Battles: Ninjago and consists of 30 levels that follows the Ninjago Rebooted animated series storyline. The game will be available in July and if you pre-order it from GameStop on their LEGO Day Sale this Saturday, you can get an exclusive poster. GameStop is also offering some other deals but we’re not sure if pre-order the game will net you those deals.

LEGO Star Wars Celebrates 15th Anniversary

The LEGO Star Wars theme is celebrating their 15th Anniversary and LEGO has released a short video to mark the event. It shows a Darth Vader minifigure standing in front of a cake and with some clever editing, he blows out the candles with the Force.

The description of the video is in French but with the power of Google Translate it is as follows:

15 years LEGO Star Wars supports a galactic adventure to all families. But what would happen if one of the characters LEGO Star Wars decided to come into your houses to bring the action to Father’s Day?

So apparently there is some kind of contest at the link above, although it is currently down, and it looks like it may be a France only contest. Hopefully we’ll also get some kind of contest here in the States as well.

LEGO Star Wars: The Dark Side Emperor Palpatine Head Revealed

Last month, we reported that the exclusive minifigure for the LEGO Star Wars: The Dark Side will be Emperor Palpatine. There’s now a report on Brickset that Palpatine will have a double-sided head which you can see below. The head was posted on Bricklink by someone who was able to get a hold of the minifigure. Now we just need to see the legs and the hair/head piece and we’re good to go. LEGO Star Wars: The Dark Side will be available in August.

LEGO Ultra Agents App Now Available for Apple iOS

The new LEGO Ultra Agents game is now available on iTunes for Apple iOS users. The free-to-play game puts you as an Ultra Agents and you have to find clues and solve mysteries in Astor City. Play through six episodes featuring all the Super Villains of the theme such as Infearno and Toxikita to name a few. Learn more about the world of Ultra Agents with the game and there may be a secret about the future of the Ultra Agents theme. Check out my review of the Android version and you can download it on Google Play.
