LEGO Ideas UCS All Terrain Armoured Transport Achieves 10,000 Supporters

July 16, 2014 / Allen "Tormentalous" Tran

The UCS All Terrain Armoured Transport (AT-AT) by Cavegod is the latest project to get 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. It is a massive buidl and uses around 6,000 LEGO elements with a total weight of around 17 pounds.

Since the project did hit 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas, it will probably not be approved by the LEGO Jury due to The LEGO Group’s ongoing relationship with Lucasfilm for official LEGO Star Wars sets. This has happened before with Mb_brick’s UCS Sandcrawler from last year. Even on the official comments for 5,000 supporters, LEGO said:

While we welcome projects based on current licenses like Star Wars in the LEGO Review, please keep in mind that a project based on an existing LEGO license has a smaller chance of passing the LEGO Review than other projects.

If you’ve been wanting an AT-AT, don’t fret. The summer 2014 wave of LEGO Star Wars sets are already showing up in stores and there will be one, albeit a lot smaller, in this wave (75054). Although Cavegod’s project will probably not pass the review stage, it is still an amazing achievement just to get 10,000 supporters.

The Labyrinth Marble Maze by JKBrickworks now becomes the highest supported project on LEGO Ideas.

LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham - Troy Baker

This morning, we reported that the original Caped Crusader Adam West will be voicing a least one character in LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham. TT Games has just announced that famous voice actor Troy Baker will be returning to do the voice for Batman again for Beyond Gotham.

Baker has previously voiced a few other LEGO video games including LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes as Batman (Bruce Wayne), Two-Face (Harvey Dent), and Sinestro. He also did the voices for Fandral, Groot, and Hawkeye (Clint Barton) on LEGO Marvel Super Heroes. His most well known role was Booker DeWitt from Bioshock Infinite and Joel from The Last of Us. Check out his full resume on Wikipedia. Troy Baker will also be at the LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham at San Diego Comic Con 2014 on Sunday, July 27 in Room 6BCF at 1:00 p.m.

Adam West Announced for LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham

July 15, 2014 / Allen "Tormentalous" Tran

LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham - Adam West

TT Games has announced that Adam West will be voicing at least one character in LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham. Back in E3 2014, we reported that TT Games Game Director Arthur Parsons mentioned that there will be some famous voice actors and I threw out a guess that the original Caped Crusader would be in the game. Well I guess I was right.

As we mentioned last week, TT Games will be at San Diego Comic Con 2014 to present some exclusive gameplay, character reveals, and other special announcements. I’m going to throw out another guess that Mr. Adam West will be making a surprise appearance during the panel as well. With the including of Adam West in the game, you can expect some hilarious dialogue on top of the humor that will already be in the game. Get hyped if you’re already not. Also make sure to follow all of our SDCC 2014 coverage here to get updates of all that will be happening at the convention.

Update: It’s been confirmed that Adam West will be at the LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham panel on Sunday, July 27, in Room 6BCF at 1:00 p.m.
