LEGO News, LEGO Reviews, and Discussions
If you missed out on The LEGO Movie Super Secret Police Enforcer (30282) polybag at Toys R Us a few months ago, you’ll be glad to know that they are now showing up at Target stores. It was found in the impulse items sections of the checkout aisles where they usually stock LEGO polybags. The Super Secret Police Enforcer retails for $4.29. You mileage may vary. Thanks to Nathan for posting the image above.
LEGO Friends fans aren’t left out of the Christmas fun after seeing the 2014 LEGO Star Wars and LEGO City Advent Calendars. Spielwaren-Bludau.de has also posted the official images of the LEGO Friends 2014 Advent Calendar (41040). The set contains 228 pieces and retails for $29.99. I’m not familiar with the Friends line but it looks like this year’s calendar includes Mia and Stephanie. Check out the image below to see what you will be getting in the LEGO Friends 2014 Advent Calendar.
In addition to the LEGO Star Wars 2014 Advent Calendar (75056), Spielwaren-Bludau.de has posted the official images of the LEGO City 2014 Advent Calendar (60063) as well. Fans of this calendar are going to get fairly generic things that add to your city. You get 7 minifigures including Santa with a cookie and a brick-built snowman. This year’s City Advent Calendar isn’t as “cool” as last year’s but there are some interesting builds such as the tricycle and the snowmobile. The set consists of 218 pieces and retails for $29.99.
Nrg on Eurobricks has posted a link to German toy store Spielwaren-Bludau.de who posted the official images of the LEGO Star Wars 2014 Advent Calendar (75056). The set was first seen at New York Toy Fair 2014 and we already know that Santa Darth Vader will be the final thing in the calendar. We now get to see the other builds for the rest of the calendar. A couple of the things that I like are the lightsaber fireplace and Luke’s Landspeeder. It consists of 274 pieces and retails for $39.99. What are your guys’ thoughts on the calendar?
There are LEGO Ideas projects and there’s a LEGO Ideas project by Yo-Sub Joo. He has submitted a project based on the Avengers Helicarrier which consists of a whopping 22,694 elements. The design was done on LDD and it measures 272 x 144 studs (217 x 115 cm) (85.4 x 45.3 inches). Obviously the Helicarrier looks amazing with all the intricate details but we know that if it does somehow reach 10,000 supporters, it would most likely not pass the review stage. Now if there’s somebody who has the amount of pieces and the time to actually create something of this magnitude, that would be equally amazing.
The LEGO Movie is now available on Digital HD and you can now purchase and watch it on various networks including Amazon Instant Video

Max from the LEGO Minecraft team has done a video asking which minifigure scale set fans prefer more and why. He has provided three sketch models and which ever set gets more comments, he will continue to improve on. The first set is a medieval-type castle. The second model is a tower with multiple levels. The final model is a safehouse. Comment on the video and tell them why you like that model.
