The LEGO Story Outtake

If you remember from last year, LEGO released a video called “The LEGO Story” on the company’s 80th birthday. Yesterday, LEGO released an outtake of The LEGO Story called “Stepping on a Brick.” It’s a nice 1 minute video that shows exactly what the title says, Godtfred Kirk Christiansen stepping on a LEGO brick.

LEGO Collectible Minifigures Series 10 Mr. Gold Found in North America

According to Brickset, a couple of collectors in North America have found the elusive Mr. Gold minifigure from the Series 10 Collectible Minifigures (71001) line. The minifig was found at Walmart in Ontario, Canada so if you’re wondering if they could be found in normal retail stores and not just LEGO stores, there’s the proof. The image above shows Mr. Gold that was found from a collector in Georgia.

If you’ve been lucky few to find Mr. Gold this early, now’s your chance to make some quick bucks on eBay or Bricklink. There was an auction on eBay that ended just today that sold for $1200 from a seller in Oregon.
