LEGO Collectible Minifigures Series 10 Mr. Gold Minifigure Found

A German seller has found 2 of the 5000 Mr. Gold minifigures that are in Series 10 LEGO Collectible Minifigures and they are now on eBay for €999 or about $1,307.09. The two minifigures are numbered 865/5000 and 870/5000.

As an eBay Affiliate, I earn from qualifying purchases.

The high prices of the Mr. Gold minifigures aren’t surprising since these are probably the first ones to show up on eBay but I know I won’t be paying insanely amounts of money just to get it. Probably a majority of collectors out there might miss out on him and might end up paying quite a penny just to get one. Hopefully more show up online and prices drop significantly to be tempting enough to pick one up.

Halo 4 – The Commissioning in LEGO

David Hall, aka legoboy12345678 (Solid Brix Studios), along with ZachFBStudios, Spugesdu, and Legohaulic has created the Halo 4 Commissioning trailer made from LEGO bricks. The project which was announced 9 months ago took over 100 hours of work and 2452 individual frames to create the whole 2+ minute trailer. EclipseGrafx provided the minifigures while BrickArms provided the weapons shown in the video. Go here to see the stop-motion video and the official trailer side-by-side. Very nice job to everyone involved in the project!

More Hi-Res LEGO Lord of the Rings Summer 2013 Set Images

The other two LEGO Lord of the Rings Summer 2013 sets now have hi-res images courtesy of World of Games. Along with be released in June along with the Battle at the Black Gates (79007) and the Pirate Ship Ambush (79008).

The Wizard Battle (79005) – $12.99

The Wizard Battle contains 113 pieces and includes 2 minifigures: Gandalf the Grey and Saruman. This is the fourth set to have Gandalf the Grey minifigure but this one will not have a cape or his wizard’s hat. This set will also include the Palantír Seeing-Stone.

LEGO Iron Man 3 Posters

LEGO has released a couple of posters of the Iron Man 3 movie using all the Iron Man minifigures from the Marvel Super Heroes sets. The above poster also shows the Iron Patriot minifigure which hasn’t been released in a set before. Does this mean that there might be one coming out in the near future? The bottom poster shows Tony Stark getting out of the ocean while his fleet of Iron Man suits flying above him.
