BrickLink Designer Program Series 1 Finalists Revealed

BrickLink has announced the finalists for the Series 1 BrickLink Designer Program which started back in March. The projects will be up for crowdfunding starting in February 2024 and the ones that get 3,000 pre-orders will be produced. There will be a maximum of 20,000 of each set that will be made.

In addition, it has been revealed that Series 2 submissions will open on May 15.

LEGO Star Wars Lucas Yoda Fountain (6471930) May the 4th Lucasfilm Employee Gift Revealed

A few days ago, Lucasfilm employees got gifts for the May the 4th celebration and it has been revealed that one of them was the LEGO Star Wars Lucas Yoda Fountain (6471930). Tweeted out by Hal Hickel, it shows a 152 piece brick-built version of the fountain just outside of the Letterman Digial Arts Center at Lucasfilm inn San Francisco. The Yoda minifigure looks to be the same one from the Dagobah Jedi Training (75330) except for the dual molded legs. If you’re a LEGO Star Wars completionist, good luck trying to find one.

Last Day for LEGO Star Wars May the 4th 2023 Promotions

If you’re doing any last minute purchases for the LEGO Star Wars May the 4th event, today is the last day to do so. The main sets and promos for this year are now out of stock but you can get still get Double VIP Points on all Star Wars purchases. The new Diorama Collection sets that celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Return of the Jedi are still available including the Emperor’s Throne Room (75352) and Endor Speeder Chase (75353).

There are also still a lot of Star Wars things going on in the Rewards Center that are leftover such as redeemables and sweepstakes. Make sure you enter the one for the signed Imperial Star Destroyer which is free.
