The Zen Bonsai by BrentWaller is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The build features a decent sized bonsai with realistic details that you can display. Note that this is Brent’s sixth time to reach the goal of getting 10k supporters which is an achievement in itself.

It now joins The Mountain Windmill, Community – Greendale Community College, LEGO HeroQuest, Brickwest Studios, House from Up, Animal Crossing New Horizons: Nook’s Cranny, Trabant 601, Night at the Museum, Fast Food Corner, Avatar: The Last Airbender, The Portal 2 – GLaDOS vs Chell and Wheatley, BMW M1 (E26), Caribbean Clipper, Sheriff’s Safe with Combination Lock, 31 Minutos T.V. LEGO Ninjago The Gardens of Ninjago City (71741) Rumored for 2021

For you LEGO Ninjago fans, there’s a rumor of a new expansion set for The LEGO Ninjago Movie Ninjago City (70620). If you remember, LEGO already did an expansion to it with the Ninjago City Docks (70657) but it looks like there’s another one coming called The Gardens of Ninjago City (71741). This will be another large scale set that will retail for €299.99 and will have upwards of 4,000 pieces. In addition like with the previous sets, it will have a lot of minifigures and this one is said to have upwards of 20.

As for the details of the set, it is said that it will have a red pagoda with a bridge leading up to it. There are also some different colored towered buildings and they are connected via a skybridge between the floors. There’s even a Japanese cherry tree on one of the towers.

If this is real, it sounds like a pretty cool set but we’ll have to wait for a teaser or an announcement to confirm it. Until then, this is purely speculation but the source of the info is pretty reliable. One thing to note is that it is weird that it will tie in to the movie even though the movie was released back in 2017 and whether it will be canon to the movie or the show.

LEGO Nintendo Entertainment System (71374) Designer Video

The LEGO Nintendo Entertainment System (71374) is one of the most popular sets that LEGO has released and earlier today, the designer video for the set went live on YouTube. LEGO designers Pablo Gonzalez, Leon Pijnenburg, and Daire McCabe talks about some of the details in the set. I do like that the set is almost 1:1 scale with the real console. Graphic designer Anthony Palamaro talks about some of the decorative pieces within the set. He notes the Mario figure pixel per pixel perfect to the on screen representation and was the first element to be designed graphic first. Benjamin Ma talks about his involvement in the set by integrating the Mario figure from the Starter Course (71360) to the TV.

Currently the LEGO Nintendo Entertainment System (71374) is temporarily sold out on Shop@Home and there’s no timetable of when it will be back. Hopefully it won’t be that long as it will make a great present once the holiday season rolls around.
