LEGO Hidden Side Newbury Subway (70430) Amazon Sale – April 2020

There is a limited time deal on Amazon for the LEGO Hidden Side Newbury Subway (70430). It is currently priced at $23.99 which is 20% and is the first time it has been on sale on the site. This is a brand new set for 2020 so if you’ve been holding off for a sale on it, now is your chance. It includes minifigures of Parker Jackson, Jack Davids, and Pete Peterson who turns into a ghost, as well as a ghost dog.

LEGO Ideas The Castle in the Forest Achieves 10,000 Supporters

The Castle in the Forest by poVoq is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The set is inspired by three LEGO Castle sets that were released 30 years ago which were Forestmen’s Hideout (6054), Camouflaged Outpost (6066), and Forestmen’s river Fortress (6077) and they were all combined into one big 2,000 piece set. Some of the play features include areas that open up using hinges.

The project joins Mary Poppins, Cherry Tree Lane, Tesla Cybertruck, Untitled Goose Game, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, The Train Station: Studgate, SpaceX Falcon 9 (Saturn V Scale), Mini-fig Scale Project Gemini, Retro Bowling Alley, Indiana Jones Trilogy, Bricks & Blooms, Sonic Mania – Green Hill Zone, The Great Fishing Boat, Knight Rider – KITT, and Snow-Groomer PRINOTH LEITWOLF as the projects to reach the First 2020 Review Stage.

LEGO DC: Shazam! – Magic & Monsters Trailer Released

Syfy has released a first look at the upcoming direct-to-home movie LEGO DC: Shazam! – Magic & Monsters. Shazam gets to star in his own LEGO animated movie now and is voiced by Sean Astin. The premise of this movie is that Black Adam and Mr. Mind along with the Monster Society of Evil turn the Justice League into kids. The minifigures even got short legs and there are also vehicles that could be in the LEGO Mighty Micros line if it continued on.

LEGO DC: Shazam! – Magic & Monsters releases this spring and Target is the only place so far you can pre-order it in the US. If you’re in the UK, Amazon has it up as well. If you remember from last year, there was a Shazam (30623) polybag that surfaced online but we didn’t know where it came from or where to get it. Perhaps it could be included in the Digital/Blu-Ray Combo Pack.

LEGO Star Wars The Razor Crest (75292) Official Box Images

There are now official images of the box art for the LEGO Star Wars The Razor Crest (75292) from the hit Disney+ series, The Mandalorian. It looks alright and it has the Mandalorian on the top right corner but with same backdrop as the other 2020 LEGO Star Wars sets.

The back of the box shows that the set will probably include a secret code to unlock the Razor Crest in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. You can now pre-order the set today for $129.99 and it will be available on September 1.

Here’s a new thing that I just found out about for the exclusive LEGOLAND sets. Over on the LEGOLAND California shop, you can purchase some of the exclusive sets that have been released in the past few years. Last year’s exclusive flagship set is even on sale for $64.99 which is 27% off the retail price of $89.99. Also available for purchase are:

You get free shipping, even on the smaller sets, and you can also get the LEGO Seasonal Easter Egg (40371) with purchases of $50 or more. Thanks to James for the heads up.
