New LEGO Black Friday 2019 Promotion Revealed

We’ve already known about some LEGO Black Friday 2019 promotions such as the Christmas Tree (40338) and the Limited Edition 1989 Batmobile (40433) with the purchase of the larger sized one but it looks like there’s another promotion that you can get. Thanks to my friend Andrew, we now know of the Mini Surfer Van that will be an in-store only item with purchases of $50 or more on November 29. In addition, LEGO will be kicking off their Black Friday on November 25 in which they will have sales on selected items. I’ll keep you updated on what will be going on sale when the promotion starts.

LEGO Harry Potter 2019 Advent Calendar (75964) Walmart Sale – November 2019

Walmart currently has the LEGO Harry Potter 2019 Advent Calendar (75964) on sale for 25% off. It is now priced at $29.99 which is $10 off the regular price and is a much more reasonable price for what you get. It should make for a fun opening next month considering that is the very first LEGO Harry Potter Advent Calendar.

LEGO Batman 1989 Batmobile (76139) Rumored for Early Black Friday Release

The LEGO Batman 1989 Batmobile (76139) was announced just in time for Black Friday shopping which includes the free smaller Limited Edition (40433) version of the set when you buy it. One of the questions I’ve been asked a lot is will VIPs have Early Access for it. I have just heard from a good source that the Batmobile will indeed be available the weekend before Black Friday. Whether or not the Early Access will include the LEGO Seasonal Christmas Tree (40338) promotional remains to be seen at this time. LEGO did do an early Black Friday promotion last year with all the gift with purchase items so it’s possible that they will do it again this year.

Update: The Batmobile will not be on sale early.

LEGO Ideas The Flintstones (21316) Walmart Sale – November 2019

The LEGO Ideas The Flintstones (21316) is currently on sale over at Walmart for $39.99 which is 33% off the regular price. You’ll have to add the item into your cart to see the price but it does work for delivery and free pickup in store. The set has been somewhat controversial due to some of the changes from the LEGO Ideas project to the final product but it looks like this discounted price is as low as it’s going to get for now.

LEGO to Debut The Brick-Changer Float at 2019 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade

Thanksgiving is coming up very soon and as a tradition, the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade will be happening in New York and LEGO will be debuting a new float there. Coming from a child’s imagination, the float is called The Brick-Changer and it is part turkey and part dragon. This is the second float that LEGO has presented in the parade with the first one being the Carousel of Imagination from 2002. K-Pop band NCT 127 will be one of the artists performing on it.

This November millions of kids and families will be inspired to build – and rebuild — the impossible as LEGO Systems debuts a new float in the 93rd Annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade®. On Thursday, November 28, 2019, it’s all about brickcraft for fans of all ages as The Brick-changer float takes to the streets of New York City delighting more than 3.5 million spectators and more than 50 million viewers nationwide, with a creative wonder set to rebuild the world, one colorful brick at a time.

“We are incredibly thrilled to welcome the LEGO brand back to the Macy’s Parade family with a brand new float that figuratively breathes creativity into the building blocks of the imagination,” said Jordan Dabby, producer of Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. “The new LEGO float is a conceptual marvel, marrying the creative and design talents of the artists of Macy’s Parade Studio with that of LEGO MasterBuilders to bring to life a magical creature that will inspire a new generation of Parade spectators.”
