LEGO has officially announced the next LEGO Ideas set with the Friends Central Perk (21319). Retailing for a modest $59.99, the set contains 1,070 pieces and is based on the iconic New York coffeehouse from the Friends TV sitcom. Not only will the set include minifigures of Ross, Rachel, Chandler, Monica, Joey, and Phoebe, it will also have a minifigure of Central Perk’s manager Gunther. Central Perk will be available for purchase starting on September 1.

Today was the mini build event for the LEGO Harley-Davidson Motorcycle at LEGO stores. Here are the building instructions for the build if you weren’t able to attend. Unfortunately, the printouts for my instructions were very small and I did my best to blow it up. If you can’t see the parts, I’ve listed them below along with how many of each piece are needed. The only exclusive things are the stickers.

LEGO has released the first teaser for the upcoming LEGO Ideas Friends Central Perk (21319) set. The short clip shows the main characters of the show sitting on the couch including Rachel, Monica, Phoebe, Joey, Chandler, and Ross. The official announcement of the set should be imminent so stay tuned.

We’re now a few days into August and I want to highlight the two LEGO Double VIP Point sets for the month. For August we have some larger sets in LEGO’s portfolio which are the LEGO Technic 4×4 X-treme Off-Roader (42099) and LEGO City Passenger Train (60197). The Off-Roader costs $249.99 and you can earn a cool 3,250 points while the Passenger Train costs $159.99 and you’ll get 2,080 points for it.
Some of the promotions that are going on include the Canvas Tote Bag with a $200 purchase and for today only, there’s the LEGO Friends Mia’s Water Fun Pack (30410) with purchases of $35 or more.
