Black Friday is still a few weeks away but Walmart has released their Black Friday ad for this year and we can see what LEGO deals they will have. First is the LEGO Classic Creative Box (10704) which has 900 pieces. The other deal they have is for the LEGO DUPLO Creative Box (10854) which has 120 pieces. Both sets are normally priced at $39.99 but will be available for $20 each in-store and online, while supplies last which probably won’t be that long since they’re one of the first items that go out of stock during this time.

StarWars.com has just announced that Star Wars: The Last Jedi, Rian Johnson, will be creating a brand new Star Wars trilogy that will be coming in the future. This trilogy will be separate from the Skywalker saga and will introduce new characters that have never been on screen before. There’s no word on what the movies will consist of or when then will be in theaters.
Since it was stated that it will be separate from the original and current trilogies, my wish is for it to be based on the Old Republic story which takes place about 3,600 years before A New Hope. Some of the major characters that are part of this storyline include Revan, Darth Malgus, Satele Shan, Jace Malcom, and so on. This could continue into the Jedi Civil War storyline where Darth Revan takes on Malak as his apprentice. Of course all of this is part of Star Wars Legends banner which isn’t canon anymore so I’m not sure if Lucasfilms will go that route.
Because LEGO has a licensing agreement with Lucasfilm, there’s no doubt that there will be some sets that will be released alongside this new trilogy. What would you like to see for these new movies? Let us know in the comments below.
The release of LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 is only a few days away and we now know the PlayStation trophies that you can get while playing the game. There are 46 total trophies that you will be able to obtain if you complete every single achievement. Note there might be some spoilers that are listed so don’t read if you want to go into the game blind.

With only a few of The LEGO Ninjago Movie sets for me to review in the initial wave, the next one I’ll be taking a look at is the Lightning Jet (70614). Although it doesn’t look like it, the set contains 876 pieces and retails for $59.99.
If you’ve been a somewhat longtime collector of LEGO, you’ve probably accumulated a number of sets. Displaying them in their entirety might be out of the question due to limited space so you may decide to separate the bricks and storing them somewhere.
Tom Alphin of The LEGO Architect (review) has released the LEGO Storage Guide which is a free online book giving you tips and recommendations on how to store your bricks. The guide is separated into two sections, organizing your bricks and displaying and displaying minifigures and each section has chapters which are structured into easy to follow topics.
I’m sure many fans, especially newer ones, have been wondering what is the most efficient way of storing their LEGO collection and it looks like The LEGO Storage Guide could be a valuable resource to use. Tom will be updating the guide in the future and is gladly taking feedback and suggestions so you can leave it over on his site or email him at [email protected].
