More Images of Asia Exclusive LEGO Dragon Dance (80102)

A few days ago, we saw the official images of the Asia exclusive LEGO Chinese New Year’s Eve Dinner (80101) and we also got a glimpse at the Dragon Dance (80102). There are now more images of the Dragon Dance and the back of the box does confirm that it does contain a kinetic play feature. On the left side of the box, you are able to turn the dial and it will move various sections of the dragon up and down. Also note that this set will also include a teal brick separator, a first of its kind.

From what I’ve been hearing, these sets will only be available to the Asian markets so it’ll be pretty difficult to obtain if you’re outside those countries. I feel they will sell well worldwide but in the meantime, LEGO will only be focusing the sets in that particular region.

The LEGO Movie 2 Video Game Announced

Not really a huge surprise but Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has announced they will be releasing The LEGO Movie 2 Video Game next year. It will be available for the PS4 and XBox One on February 26 and on the Switch on March 26. Like with the previous movie games, you’ll basically play through the movie in various levels while using over 100 playable characters.

There are now images of more LEGO City 2019 sets which include a new subtheme called Sky Police. We’ve already seen a couple of the smaller Sky Police sets in the first batch of images from a few days ago. There’s also some new road plates coming which include T-Junction and Curve plates.

Upcoming LEGO December 2018 Unannounced Promotions

LEGO Jurassic World Bricktober 2018 (5005255)

The December 2018 LEGO Store Calendar has been released for a while now and the promotions have been somewhat limited but I’ve gotten news on some unannounced promotions for the month. According to my source, there will be three gift-with-purchase promos which include:

December 1-23: – Free Parrot Mailer with purchases of $10 or more, in-store only.
December 1-31: – Free LEGO Star Wars Darth Vader Pod (5005376) with purchase of Darth Vader’s Castle (75251).
December 14-16: Free LEGO Jurasic World Bricktober (5005255) set with purchases of $99 or more.

LEGO may decide to send out an email blast or post on social media about these promos as we get closer to December but keep an eye out on Shop@Home if you’re looking to get some of them. No word on whether they will be both in-store and online at this time but I assume they will be.

Update: The Parrot Mailer will be in-store only.
Update 2: LEGO Brand Stores will have limited quantities of the Jurassic World Bricktober set. The email blast for the promotions is scheduled to go out on December 1.

LEGO Amazon Cyber Monday 2018 Sales

Amazon has kicked off their Cyber Monday sales and there are a ton of LEGO sets that are discounted upwards of 30% and more. Some of the more notable ones include the LEGO Technic Porsche 911 GT3 RS for $206.93 and the LEGO Ideas NASA Apollo Saturn V (21309) for $78.74 with frustration-free packaging.

For the Cyber Monday 2018 LEGO deal of the day, we have the LEGO Friends Sunshine Catamaran (41317) on sale for 30% off. It is now priced at $48.99 and it is the last day to combine the deal with the LEGO Seasonal Christmas Gift Box (40292) promotion. One thing to note is that Amazon has LEGO one-upped as they have the set on sale for $40.99 which is 41% off but you don’t get the VIP points or a chance at the gift set.
