MOC Nation Service Launches Today

Here’s something that may be of interest to some of the readers. The guys over at a new site called MOC Nation: Designer LEGO Creations has reached out to us to let you know about their launch today. It’s basically a site for LEGO fans to purchase sets designed by other builders while builders themselves are able to create some income from their designs. MOC Nation will source the parts as well as create the instructions for the set and shipping them out. Check out the press release below.

LEGO Panels at San Diego Comic Con 2016

The San Diego Comic Con 2016 schedules are out and surprisingly, there aren’t that many LEGO panels this year as compared to last year. I scanned the schedules and I’ve only found there are three and they are all on Sunday.

The first panel revolves around LEGO Dimensions and the new content that will be coming out in a few months.

The second one is for LEGO Ninjago and it will be discussing the latest season and also talk about the development of the sets as well as some new stories for Ninjago.

The final panel is for LEGO Nexo Knights and they will discuss the characters and the development of the TV series as well as the product design process of the sets.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2017 Hulk vs. Red Hulk Revealed

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Hulk vs. Red Hulk

The Hollywood Reporter has just revealed another 2017 LEGO Marvel Super Heroes set that will be displayed at San Diego Comic Con in a few weeks with the Hulk vs. Red Hulk set. The 375 piece set will be available in January at a $59.99 price point.

The set will include Hulk, She-Hulk, Red Hulk, and Red She-Hulk along with their respective vehicles. This set marks the first time that She-Hulk and Red She-Hulk is in minifigure form. Red-Hulk is basically the Hulk bigfig with some slight color differences.

As mentioned before, the set will be shown off at SDCC along with the 2017 Marvel Mighty Micros. It looks like LEGO is bring the heat with all these cool Super Heroes sets next year and hopefully we’ll get to see more soon.

LEGO Nexo Knights King’s Guard (5004390) Review

Here in the US if you got one of the 2016 LEGO Wall Calendars, there was a voucher for a free LEGO Nexo Knights promotion that runs from July until September which is the King’s Guard (5004390).

LEGO Minifigures Entering Jupiter’s Orbit Tomorrow

Tomorrow night, the NASA Juno spacecraft will finally be entering Jupiter’s orbit after a five year journey. Onboard the Juno are some LEGO minifigures that were created as part of a partnership between NASA and The LEGO Group to inspire children to pursue science and engineering.

The minifigures are made out of a special space-grade aluminum and they represent some important mythological and science figures which includes the Roman god Jupiter, his wife Juno, and Galileo Galilei. Jupiter is holding a lightning bolt as he is the god of the sky and thunder. Juno holds a magnifying glass to signify her search for the truth. Galileo holds a miniature planet of Jupiter as well as a telescope.

The LEGO minifigures will not be returning to Earth as they will be intentionally dropped into Jupiter’s atmosphere after the Juno probe orbits the planet for a year.

LEGO Dimensions Sonic the Hedgehog Minifigure Revealed

Earlier today, Mark Warburton from TT Games shared some images of the Sonic the Hedgehog minifigure that will coming out for year two of LEGO Dimensions. As we know by know Sonic the Hedgehog will be one of the new licensed properties that will be coming to the popular toys-to-life genre along with a slew of other characters.

As you can see, the Sonic LEGO minifigure is pretty true to the character with the new molded head piece. He is also shown holding a life preserver piece instead of the One Ring piece as shown at the end of the trailer but this could be just a placeholder. We’ll have to wait and see when the images of the expansion pack are released.

LEGO July 2016 Promotions Now Live

It’s a new month on the east coast and that means the July 2016 LEGO promotions and events are now live on Shop@Home. The main promo is the LEGO Classic Knights (5004419) set with purchases of $50 or more for VIP members which goes on until July 10.

New sets that are available include the LEGO Ghostbusters Ecto 1 & Ecto 2 (75828) as well as the LEGO Creator Big Ben (10253) as well as the LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes Batman: Rescue from Ra’s al Ghul (76056).
