LEGO x Adidas ZX 8000 Review

The LEGO x Adidas ZX 8000 collaborative shoes were released last week and I was lucky enough to win one of the raffles that I entered in for a chance to purchase a pair. I won it off of Footshop which is a European shoe boutique and it cost me about $186. The shipment was extremely fast as I got the package in three days.

LEGO Seasonal Charles Dickens Tribute (40410) Revealed

There have been a lot new, unannounced sets that have been revealed today and the latest one is the LEGO Seasonal Charles Dickens Tribute (40410). The set pays homage to one of Dickens’ most popular books, A Christmas Carol and it features a book with a living room scene and it includes minifigures of Scrooge, Bob Cratchit, and Tiny Tim.

There’s no word yet on its availability or how to get it but I’m assuming it’ll be part of the Black Friday 2020 promotions on the LEGO Shop. It’ll mostly likely be free with a $99 purchase like in previous years.

New LEGO Christmas Products Available on Shop@Home – October 2020

The new LEGO Seasonal Christmas 2020 sets are now available for purchase on the LEGO Shop. The most intriguing one is the 2-in-1 Christmas Wreath which has had a very positive response from the fan community so far. The other more interesting set is the Nutcracker BrickHeadz which has a functional mouth. The rest of the Christmas sets for this year are a new series of ornaments.

In addition, the LEGO Star Wars Mos Eisley Cantina (75290) and the LEGO Winter Village Elf Club House (10275) are now available to the general public if there’s stock. Both sets have been out of stock since their release a few weeks ago.

As far as promotions for October are concerned, there are none at the beginning of the month and won’t start until October 15.

Update: LEGO is throwing in a free mystery gift with purchases right now which is the Celebration Bag Charm (853989).

LEGO Supports BIONICLE: Quest for Mata Nui Fan Made Game

If you’re a fan of the LEGO BIONICLE theme, you may have known about a fan made open world game called BIONICLE: Quest for Mata Nui and LEGO has finally acknowledged it and are supportive of it. CrainyCreations, who has been developing it for six years, has been in contact with The LEGO Group and LEGO Games to discuss the future of the game. The game itself is set in the world of LEGO BIONICLE and it “retells the 2001 story of the Toa Mata’s quest for the Kanohi Masks of Power, culminating in their battle against Makuta.”

As many fans are aware, there is a fan made BIONICLE game 6 years in the making that was announced a few months ago. Recently the creator of the game made a statement online about speaking directly to TLG. I can confirm that CrainyCreations has been in touch with TLG. Statement below:

A message from LEGO Games:

“We can confirm CrainyCreations, the creators behind “Bionicle: Quest for Mata Nui”, was in dialog with us (i.e. LEGO Games) to discuss the future plans of the game including ways the project can continue to exist. We see game development as an exciting opportunity to add new way to engage with the LEGO brick. In the LEGO Games team, we are always looking for ways to inspire and encourage the fan community including a recently BETA launched LEGO Microgame in partnership with Unity. Perhaps this can help give others the tools to do what CrainyCreations has done by encouraging and making

ToySphere Launches New Way to Shop for LEGO

There’s a new service that has recently launched that is a new way to explore and shop for LEGO called ToySphere. What it basically does is that it takes all the LEGO themes and puts theme into “spheres” to give you a visual way to see all of the sets that have been released in a particular theme from the last decade. By zooming in on a certain item, you can either check out the description or purchase it off the LEGO Shop or on the secondary market if it’s retired.

Since ToySphere just went live, there are only a few spheres/themes available at the moment but will be continuously updated in the near future. Since we process visual data better, ToySphere has done a good job in putting all the sets in certain categories within the theme.

Sphere are excited to announce the launch of LEGO ToySphere, a completely unique and immersive format, reimagining shopping for LEGO and allowing fans to view the last decade of LEGO like never before.

Lifelong LEGO fans Olly Treadway and Warren Minde have come together to build ToySphere – bringing the excitement, playfulness and immersion of a trip to a real LEGO store online. Pouring time and passion into building this awesome new way to explore and shop LEGO, the team have spent the past six years on this epic fan project.

Combining Olly’s tech wizardry and passion for LEGO, with Warren’s years of experience consulting to the LEGO leadership at their HQ in Billund, Denmark, this is

Amazon has announced that Prime Day 2020 will be happening in a few weeks on October 13-14. It was delayed this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic but shoppers don’t need to worry as they can find some great deals soon.

In the past, there have been some pretty good deals on LEGO products including sales on some of the larger sets. Amazon hasn’t given any hints on what sales they will be having this year.

If you haven’t yet, sign up for a 30 day trial of Amazon Prime to get the benefits of being a member which goes beyond just getting deals on products.
