Advisory Notice: Regarding Leaked Summer 2015 Images

It’s that time when we start seeing images for the Summer 2015 LEGO sets but it’s also the time when we start seeing leaked images that are watermarked with the “Confidential” stamp. These images are usually from catalogs that retailers have and they’re itching to share sets that are coming out later this year. Publishing and distributing of these images are not allowed by LEGO although it doesn’t stop people from doing it.

The watermarked imaged images are pretty low quality and usually doesn’t reflect the final product although there are similarities between them. Yes, I have seen the images that have come out the past couple of days for various themes but please do not leave those links in our comment sections. I will be deleting them and if there are repeat offenders, I will be banning them from commenting. I’ve already had to delete a quite few of them already the past two days or so and will be continuing to delete them if I see them on my posts. Read more on LEGO’s policy of these images over on Brickset.

Other sites might be posting them or to the links with the images to get more traffic or whatnot but I’m not about that. I want quality posts that give quality to the readers, not showing off low quality images that’s hard to see the details. I have no direct relationship with The LEGO Group but I do respect their policies. Patience is virtue and the official images will be released in … Continue

2015 First Quarter LEGO Store Build-A-Minifigure Bar Elements

LEGO Build-A-Minifigure Bar

I recently featured the new 2015 first quarter LEGO Store Pick-A-Brick Wall elements and while I was there, I also had a chance to take a look at some of the new stuff on the Build-A-Minifigure bar. There were so many things I haven’t seen there so some of them might have been available before but I didn’t notice them. Note the above image is from the previous quarter because I forgot to take a picture of it with the new stuff. Again, most of these elements will be available at different locations but some stores may not have the same ones.

For the heads, the one that stood out the most for me is the queasy guy’s head from the LEGO Creator Fairground Mixer (10244). The set was released just last year and I was surprised to see that head available already. Another head that stood out was the Overlord’s from the LEGO Ninjago Battle for Ninjago City (70728). It might not fit in with many things but it’s cool for some themed MOCs. The rest are some general ones that you can use in many situations.

New LEGO City Playmat (5002936) Found

One of our readers has tweeted us a new LEGO City Playmat (5002936) that we could be seeing here in the States this year. The playmat is double-sided and on one side it has a setting for the new 2015 Swamp Police sets while the other side has a setting for the Construction sets. If it is released here, it’ll probably retail for $14.99 like previously released playmats. Thanks to Eric for the heads up.

2015 First Quarter LEGO Store Pick-A-Brick Wall

New Pick-A-Brick

I finally had time to get to my local LEGO Store to check out the new elements on the Pick-A-Brick Wall. During each quarter of the year, you can expect some new stuff showing up on the wall that you may not have seen before. Some of them are labeled with themes that the parts would go well with and for this quarter they include LEGO Star Wars and LEGO Friends as well as some that go well with anything in general. From my understanding, these elements are sent to LEGO Stores throughout the US so you may also have seen them already.

For elements that go well with LEGO Star Wars, we have light bluish gray modified 1x1s with handle, trans-orange cheese slopes, trans-red round 1x1s, trans-neon yellow round 2x2s, and black 1x2s with clip.
